Oh yeah! I took a break from a (totally different) writing project to find that POPSUGAR Must Have Box Holiday for Him Special Edition spoilers are up! Good thing too, because mine went to my home address even though I changed my address and honestly, Popsugar hasn’t been a whole lot of help in that regard. I’m a little miffed because I’ve spent, oh, around $900 on just special edition boxes with them in the last few months (both for personal use/gifts and giveaways). Could we be a little more helpful people? End rant I guess.

Mark and Graham Small Everyday Leather Travel Pouch ($79) This is nice & my husband likes dopp kits. Most men do and that’s why he already has ten of them. Too bad it can’t be personalized!

Apolis Flannel Wool Tie ($68) Inspired by a World War II officer’s tie. The solid color and utilitarian heritage is an easy spring accessory to dress up or down. Made out of a virgin wool flannel woven in Canada.

Native Union Monocle Speaker ($50) My husband will love this to go along with his new iPad mini!

Malin+Goetz  Essential Kit ($30) Well, since this is ending up at my house, at least he’ll have some toiletries to use when he comes home that won’t get in my way! I know they’re going to smell crazy good.

Soxiety Striped Socks ($12) Socks.

Funky Chunky ChipZelPop ($3.50) Natural brown sugar, pretzels & potato chips. I will be ok with this ending up at home and not at Christmas.

Krave Jerky ($7) In one of four flavors, I put Beef Chili Lime in my photo because that’s what he’s hoping for!

Besides the speaker, this box seems somewhat generic, but I suppose that’s good for general man-holiday-gifting. What do you think? I’m definitely feeling a little blah about the rest of the contents in this box but I have no idea what my husband will think about it!

Wish the apolis item was one of their keychains. I mean overall, I don’t know that ties are an everyman’s thing. And the socks look good quality, but will he know? At least they are not mic (made in china). My hubby too his birch box hat and said “phffft a hat from the dollar store”. I will probably have to break this up for gifting, which is ok. But that tie…too bland for my dad and not useful for hubby. I don’t think. Oh well, at least the other stuff is stuff that can be useful. Agree.Still meh

Oh if there was ANYTHING out of it I could gift to FIL I would. So far I bought him those dirt cheap bobbleheads from the Discovery store. I don’t know what to get him, he is so odd. They are going to London for the holidays (SIL lives there) so I have some time. Maybe I’ll head over to the mall with the kids one day that it’s not snowing post-Christmas and buy all the weird stuff at Kohl’s that’s always on clearance… I mean, that’s what we got last year – from them. My in-laws actually bought me a cheap coin sorter (full price). They are weird. I have MIL covered with a grandma locket. Whew.

Well, in that case the whole box may be unused. This box could not be more NOT his style. 🙂 I can help with the socks and the Funky Monkey but everything else not so much.

This is the first PSMH I am not happy to have purchased. I knew the risk but aside from the Beef Jerky, my husband will not use any of it. That is expensive beef jerky! LOL

It’s one of four flavors… Not all of them are beef. FYI the turkey jerky is… Unique.

I am a bit glad I didn’t get this one. I have a picky husband who wouldn’t use any of that :/

Yeah, however many minutes later I’m still pretty MEH on this box. Also the personalization at Mark & Graham is free, so the dopp isn’t really worth $79.
