Luxor Box 1951 Maison Française “Mystery” Box Review

I’m excited that the Luxor 1951 Maison Française Mystery Box arrived! Each box will contain a 1951 Maison Française Clutch size XL, XXL, or XXXL and a mixture of items from the December 2015 to May 2016 boxes. I paid $185.00 for the box. It was scheduled to ship by May 23rd. I am impressed that it arrived on May 23rd! Luxor ships on time!

It occurred to me the other day that it was possible to receive a Rose et Marius Tumbler in the Mystery Box. I did not want to get my hopes up for it. Then I saw the box had a fragile sticker. It took me a little time to clean out the squiggles to see the card that says I am an owner of a Rose et Marius Precious Tumbler!

I am excited about the items in the box! It’s a great mixture of items.

I am officialyl out of ideas on how to photograph the stainless steel  Mary Jurek Design Inc. Mirabel Mini Vase ($40.00)! The highly reflective single base bud has a circular design pattern on the body of the vase. It’s a flat vase with a raised lip. There are more pictures in my Luxor May Review and the Luxor Petite Box May Review. Mary Jurek is a designer that has been featured in a few Luxor boxes. I am going to see if my sister wants the third vase. I have plans for the other two vases.

The rain kindly stopped to allow me to model the  “Lots of Cash” Ivory Cashmere Socks ($44.00). I am ecstatic to see them in the box. I received two pairs and gave one to my sister because they were featured in the Luxor January Box and the Luxor Petite January Box. They are comfortable socks that are made in Italy.

The Rose et Marius Les Carreaux de Ciment/Rose et Marius Pink Wine Scrub Soap (3.5 oz, $20.00) is a beautiful soap with a cement tile pattern that is featured on their tumblers. This soap smells amazing. It has pink wine from Provence, grape seeds that provide exfoliation, perfume from Grasse, and poppy oil and Occhres from Roussillon. The made in France soap smells amazing!

I am stunned. I am totally shocked to see the  Rose et Marius Precious Tumbler – Neou Vert ($115.00)!!!  I now have a matching pair. The Rose et Marius Precious Tumbler is made with porcelain from Limoges and handset with tile designs based on cement floor tiles of older Provençal mansions. I was so excited about the tumbler that I forgot to open up the 1951 duster bag to see what clutch I received. I love the colors and will be showcasing them. The genuine leather Maison Francaise 1951 XXL Leopard Clutch with Chain (95 euros plus 10 euros for the chain, appx $117.00) feels soft. It startled me when I saw it was hairy! The lining is cotton with a brass zipper closure. The clutch is handmade in Morroco and France. I received the Maison Francaise 1951 Python in Choco L in the Luxor December Special Edition Box and had received a lot of compliments. The Leopard Clutch is probably the wildest purse I now own! I will have to find an outfit to wear it with this week! Or I may use it to store my tablet in my bag. It makes life more interesting!

I am ecstatic about my Luxor Box 1951 Maison Francaise “Mystery” Box. I am extremely happy and stunned to receive a matching Rose et Marius Precious Tumbler to the one I received in the May box. The Maison Francaise Clutch is a little out of my comfort zone which I expected. My mindset was to have fun and enjoy whatever clutch showed up in the box. The soap smells amazing, and the socks are comfortable and feel luxurious.  The mini vase will be put to good use. I am glad that I decided to purchase the box!
