The theme for August was an Al Fresco Getaway! It was very fragrant – yum!
The card is basically impossible to read. I hope they go to a folding card soon!

Goldfinch Rosemary Caramels ($5) SOB. These weren’t in my box. A little disappointing especially considering last month’s bbq sauce disaster.
Sagestruck Herbary Specialty Trio ( $9.25) Cherry Anise in White Balsamic,Herbs of Provence in Olive Oil, and Italian in Balsamic. These look great! They’re small batch infused oils and balsalmics and included a nice recipe card too!
Touch of Earth Herbal Skin Soothing Salve ($25 – currently on sale 2 for 1) This is an Atlas Cedar Vanilla. The link shows the product as containing “medical organic cannabis.” They specifically differentiate it from the hemp seed oil in it, so I would not use this if I had a job that drug-tested. Just saying. BUT I don’t think the one that was sent out had it in it (not sure – because what’s on the card says tonifying hair & beauty cream. It smells good and the first ingredient is calendula, so I think it will work beautifully.
Coco Beza Solid Lotion in Rosemary Mint ($8) Made with Organic Shea, Mango Butter, Calendula and Olive Oil! I love lotion bars because there’s no liquid, which means I can take it when I travel or just not worry about the kids getting into it!
The Baja Company Rosemary Lemon Soap ($6.50) Ahh, the source of that lovely smell! It has a gorgeous scent, is handmade, and decorated with a rosemary sprig. It does include Yellow #7 coloring.
Metal & Cork Stag and Squirrel Wine Stoppers ($15) I love this! They’re so cute and I wish I could buy one with a beaver (I have a collection, it’s complicated). Anyways, these are wonderful and will totally be used!
I’m a rosemary fan, so I liked this box (and I really hope I can get the caramels replaced – I received the box on Saturday so I’m waiting to find out.). I’m disappointed with two “problem” boxes in a row though – hoping they step it up for next month. The September Theme is Breakfast in Bed, and you know I have to give them a chance for that one!
