Well, it’s been a month for POPSUGAR. My CFDA box will be on its way back on Monday, but I’ve purchased the Summer Special Edition Box (how could I not? and whoops, it’s sold out!) and my basil from last month is sprouting! POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a monthly subscription. You’ll receive items from a mix of categories (beauty, home, accessories, jewelry, etc.).

Should you want to enter to win this box, I have a current giveaway, which I have also posted at the end of this review!
But it’s May now, we can put all that CFDA silliness behind us. At least it didn’t contain a blue clutch.
Middle Kingdom Mini Plum Vase in Coral Red ($20) Nothing in our decor matches this at all, so I hope we’ll be able to find a home for it. Perhaps eventually in the kids’ Mickey Mouse bathroom.
I loved that it was signed by the artist, and in this case, the designer crafted the vase.
Kitsch Tri’d & True Y-Shaped Necklace ($32) The Y necklace does nothing for me. I cannot ever imagine wearing such a thing to work.
Just not my personal taste.
Sage & Row Bare Shave Cream ($17)
Batiste Dry Shampoo ($4)
I’m not even going to talk about the hair on my legs right now. I’m just going to dutifully march to the shower and use this. Dry Shampoo I use a ton because a shower and hairdo? NEVER happens in the a.m.
Hammond’s Candies McCraw’s Flat Taffy ($0.50) Just a fun treat, like what you’d find in a tourist shop!
Sisters of Los Angeles Surf Sand Love Beach Towel ($40) This is a cute, fun towel. It is not a $40 towel. We’ll use it for sure, but it’s not even plush on both sides, and definitely not superplush. It would have to be a serious towel to have an actual $40 value.
Total value in May about $113. It’s still amazing for $40, but let’s not pretend it’s actually worth that much. I won’t use the necklace (gifting to teenager maybe? will mom be OK with it? I think it’s actually quite a suggestive necklace! Is it just me?) and I’m unsure about the color of that vase. I’m just a jewel-tone kinda lady! So it wasn’t my favorite box, but it wasn’t the CFDA box either so I’m happy!

thank you for the giveaway! My mom and sister happened to be over when the box arrived and we enjoyed going through everything together 🙂 I also am going to San Diego at the end of the month and everything is perfect for that trip!
so glad you enjoyed it!!! and yes, i guess the necklace will be good for the beach!
My must have item from this box is the Kitsch Tri’d & True Y-Shaped Necklace.
That towel, I need a new one for the summer.
Shaving cream!!! Always useful!!
I can never have to much Dry Shampoo
My must have item is the shave cream. Lol! I love that it’s natural.
The vase is cute, but also doesn’t go with my decor. I also agree with you regarding the necklace. It does seem suggestive doesn’t it?! It’s a cute necklace though and I’d probably wear it out, just not to work. Overall not a wow box, but I’d probably use everything.
ha ha suggestive is the perfect word to describe this necklace. if not only for the length there’s a little arrow, too. wild. I think the necklace is cute but I would never wear anything except a bathing suit that would allow the full necklace seen. I may try to shorten then length as suggested above.
Overall a cute box… nice pre-summer attempt, but surprised no showstoppers like PSMH is usually known for. I like it though! 🙂
I’m thinking of shortening tail of the ‘y’ on the necklace by a couple of inches. Should be fairly easy, just some nippers and pliers. That way its more of a cute necklace, than an arrow pointing (or getting lost in) to my cleavage.
so smart! TY for the idea!!!!
The necklace looks cute.
