Olfactif is a monthly unisex fragrance discovery subscription box. You’ll get 3 samples in your box, each containing 15-20 “wears” of an independently designed perfume. With every box, your account will be credited with an $18 voucher to use on fragrances from the store. Olfactif‘s focus is on niche fragrance, so you’ll see different & unique scents, higher quality and hard-to-find ingredients.

If you aren’t used to sniffing perfumes, there’s a basic information card on how to do it! My husband is really great at deciphering scents.

Olfactif has the most unique & awesome packaging. I adore the slide-out box. The information card for the fragrances is tucked inside.

IMG_1569 April’s Theme is British Invasion! This is a British perfume invasion because apparently high end fragrance is becoming a thing in the UK.  No need to keep it all in France!

The box’s tray slides out to reveal the vials inside.

The flip side of the information card lists the name of the perfume, the creator, and the notes. What I do is use two wrists and an elbow-pit and put them all at once and then look at the card as I go!

Centrepiece by 4160 Tuesdays. Exclusive to Olfactif in the U.S.! Notes of honey, green tea, vanilla, frangipani (plumeria), cedarwood, and musk. This is highly honeyed when you put it on, and goes through the floral scents to settle with the lower notes.

Jardin Mystique by Friedemodin. This is one of those “white” perfumes and definitely a floral. I couldn’t pick up the grass in this one, but my sniffer is overly attuned the floral scents, which I generally shy away from.

Golden Chypre by Grossmith. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but this scent has less in the vial than the rest. Normally the vials include 2.25 mL (2/3 full) but this one only 1.75 mL – because it’s $395 a bottle. I was delighted to receive this, because I would never – even if I was absolutely in love with a scent – spend that kind of money on it.  This one was all citrus and amber when it went on and now I can smell all the nice spicy scents with it.

Centrepiece is totally my fave out of the bunch. I think this is a really fun discovery subscription and I love the monthly themes! I’m at the point in my life where I’m really past bottles but if I had a must-have, I would absolutely use my code to purchase it because these fragrances are so difficult to find.
