I just received my box. I tried out the two products on my hands.
The Black Locust serum has a nice texture and absorbs in my skin easily. The only problem I have is I hate the smell of it. I will use it on my face and see how I feel. I hope the smell goes away quickly.
The balm has a thick texture yet it will sink into damp skin. I feel like the balm will be a great addition to my routine. I love face balms more than moisturizers and feel this balm will give me moisture without a greasy feel. So it seems to be a hit for me.
This is the first time I am trying Earthwise and many of their products seem very interesting to me.
This box intrigues me because I have dry skin and the balm specifically says for dry skin.
I think Boxwalla had the black locust serum a box last summer. Anyway, still have new in the box .. I have quite a bit in Earthwise and that line is up next .. I remember when I would run out of serum. I forgot to cancel monthly subscription since I wanted that Ayuna…and forgot to skip Ipsy. Remembered Allure. Oh well, sure I will enjoy
I have been loving the black locust firming concentrate, it’s a beautiful serum that gives me instant results (I like to mix it in with a moisturizer). It’s great to have another bottle on standby, I would pay full price for it. I used the balm this evening, it is thick and seems nice enough. Time will tell if it’s anything special. I’m still trying to get through several other balms, including the Arcana from a few months ago. I truly do love this sub/discovery service, always luxe and high value.
I know a lot of people love this serum, but I just can’t get it to work for my skin. I think the brand is good, but I’m disappointed these are the products. I would’ve gladly taken a cleanser or facial mist, which would’ve complimented the new balm nicely. I’ve been wanting to try Earthwise Beauty’s “A Swing Above the Trees” mist for a while now.
I think this is a decent box, I just already know one product doesn’t really work for me.
