Here are all the products in April’s box.

April’s box has a UK vs. International theme.  It features a mix of products from Britain and overseas.

SXOLLIE Cider Cripps Pink (£1.80) is made from apples grown in the Elgin Valley in South Africa.  This is a crisp, refreshing cider that is immensely drinkable and not too sweet – I really enjoyed it!

Percy’s Caramel Chocolate Shortbread Sticks (£3).  These little fingers of buttery shortbread covered in caramel milk chocolate are such a nice treat.  They are very sweet and perfect with a cup of tea or a glass of milk.  I only realised I didn’t take a close-up photo after the pack was empty.

Tilda Peri Peri Microwave Rice (£1.59) is a quick and easy rice side dish with flavours of chilli, green and red peppers, oregano and lemon.  This wasn’t particularly spicy but had a nice flavour and the rice is high quality.  Best of all, it was super quick to prepare and no dirty dishes required – just microwave for a few minutes in the pouch and serve.  The packet comfortably serves two, and considering the convenience factor and quality, I think this is a good value for the price.

PEPPADEW Sweet Piquante Peppers Mild Chopped (£3) are mildly spicy little slices of pepper perfect for adding to almost anything.  I love these things!  They are tangy, sweet and spicy all in one and they make pretty much any meal better.  I will most definitely be buying these again.

Very Lazy Lemongrass Paste and Ginger Paste (£1.85 each) are an easy way to add big flavour to Asian inspired dishes.  I use Very Lazy products all the time and highly recommend these as a cupboard staple.

Growers Garden Fresh Broccoli crisps with sour cream & chive (£1.99) are made with 27% fresh broccoli.  These light crisps are vegan, gluten free, high in fibre and low in saturated fat.  I love broccoli but these are a bit much even for me.

Brynmor Flapjack Caramel Fudge and Apple & Raspberry (£1.29) bars are baked in Wales.  These are substantial in size and very satisfying, making them an excellent value for the price.  They are also deliciously sweet and chewy.

I really enjoyed these, as did my son who absolutely gobbled them up.  My favourite was the Apple & Raspberry as it wasn’t as sweet as the Caramel Fudge flavour, but both were really good.

Remedy Kombucha Raspberry Lemondade 250ml and Cherry Plum 250ml (£1.85) is a naturally fermented sweet tea with no sugar.  I wasn’t able to try this because it is unpasteurised, however my husband tried it out for me. It was his first experience with kombucha and he wasn’t a fan.  It may be an acquired taste?

Terry’s Chocolate Orange Minis Popping Candy (£4) are little segments of the classic treat filled with popping candy pieces.  I always enjoy these super sweet orange chocolate with the added fun of fizz.

I enjoyed nearly everything in April’s box.  My biggest hits were the Brynmor Flapjacks and the PEPPADEW peppers – both so good!
