Everything in my box! You can go with the scent of the month, which for November will be Amazing Grace Magnolia from philosophy, or fill up your queue with scents that sound interesting to you. You can take a quiz when you sign up and answer questions such as your fragrance type, scent notes desired, etc and get recommendations or just choose ones that sound good to you. If you don’t choose then Scentbird will send you the scent of the month. Scentbird sends vials that are filled with 8ml (0.27oz) of fragrance.

Montale Starry Nights Eau De Parfum ($150 for 3.4 ounces on Amazon) I went with a unisex scent that had notes that I like, such as patchouli. It is an oriental floral and the other notes are rose, lemon, musk, and amber. I can’t really smell the patchouli, although there is some sweetness going on. It’s not as dirty as some rose and musk combos that I have encountered, and it is pretty strong and long-lasting but not in an overwhelming way. I think it is a sexy scent and probably wouldn’t wear it to work. The amber does give off warm vibes, like cuddling up on a cold fall evening.
According to those who took the time to rate the perfume on Scentbird, this scent is woody and perfect for date night. Most also felt it was a classic fragrance and perfect for fall, and felt that it was strong and intense. When you first get your shipment, it will come with a holder that you just place your scent vial in to carry it safely in a purse or bag. You get a new holder every few months and can order extras on the Scentbird website.
I was extremely pleased with my October Scentbird choice! I thought the scent was perfect for the cooler months ahead and it has such an interesting quality about it that I adore. I like that it is bold but not overwhelming. Scentbird is the perfect way to discover scents without wasting money on a whole bottle and I have discovered many favorite scents through this subscription!
