Instead of the usual food and cultural information about Japan, the booklet includes a little activity for your kids to work on.

Katamari Damacy Lanyard. This month’s bonus is an exclusive lanyard from Katamari Damacy!
The lanyard’s design is cute and very colorful.
It also features some cute characters from the game!
Baby Cheese Chips. This one is for the ultimate cheese lovers! It’s a tasty snack made from thinly-sliced potato blended with delectable cheese flavor. Since they’re fried slowly, the chips came out crispier. I could really taste the cheese in every bite, but it wasn’t overpowering. It’s just right to satisfy my tastebuds.
Shimitto Chocolate. These are little chocolate sponge rings filled with chocolate cream, definitely a chocolate lover’s dream come true. Each piece is crunchy, and they easily melt in the mouth. This bag was gone in no time, it’s that addicting!
Crushed Orange Gum. I got an orange-flavored gum, and it had a refreshing, natural taste like a real orange. It features a perfect amount of tartness and sweetness, plus it lasts long!
Chibikko Orange. There’s another orange-themed treat in this month’s box. Its packaging is really cute, as it looks like a stack of oranges in a net bag.
Inside the container, there are pebble-shaped pieces of orange-flavored candies. They may be small, but they’re bursting with flavor!
Takoyaki Umaibo. Umaibo is a staple in most Japanese snack boxes! This version of umaibo is inspired by takoyaki, a popular Japanese snack made with octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, and green onion. It has a satisfying crunch, with a blend of rich savory taste.
Refreshing Lemon & Chocolate Cookies. These mini-cookies are packed with lemon and chocolate. Each piece is moist and chewy, and they’re quite filling as well. Inside the bag are six individually wrapped cookies, perfect for sharing with the whole family.
Puchi Melon Pan. Melon bread, also known as melon pan, is a sweet bun popular in Japan. Our box included a mini version, in the form of a cookie. It’s so sweet and it really has the taste of a fresh melon.
Konpeito. Konpeito is a traditional Japanese candy characterized by its distinct sweet taste and star shape. It’s easily a hit with the kids!
Kanibisu. Kanibisu is a crab-shaped biscuit with a balanced sweet and salty taste. We had them straight out of the bag, but you can also pair them with milk or hot chocolate.
DIY Sushi Restaurant. For this month’s featured DIY candy, we’re making gummy sushi! The candies are pre-made, and all we had to do was stack them up. Everything’s chewy and tasty as well.
Mayo Tara. It’s a traditional dagashi treat made from dried fish that also comes with a small packet of mayo for dipping. This snack is so common in Japan, enjoyed by locals since the samurai era.
Kakinotane Tirol-Choco. Each of these chocolate squares is filled with kaki no tane, or crescent-shaped rice crackers. The treats are individually wrapped with various cute designs. However, they tasted burnt so I had to spit them out!
Apple Butter Biscuit. These heart-shaped flaky biscuits are flavored with apple flavor and showered with sugar, the perfect treat to indulge in whether as a breakfast snack or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Each piece is sweet and filling, and pairing it with coffee or tea is simply the best.
Nata De Coco Muscat Gummy. Here’s a pack of gummy jellies made with muscat, a special breed of grapes usually used for raisins, plus coconut juice. Their texture and chewiness are reminiscent of nata de coco, or coconut jelly, which is popular in Asia.
Pringles Sukiyaki. You can never go wrong with Pringles! This version from Japan boasts of the unique flavors of sukiyaki, or slowly cooked meat with vegetables. Every chip is thin and crunchy, just like the regular version, but the flavor is more intense, leaving you wanting more.
Lemon Multi-Vitamin Fanta. This lemon-flavored sparkling drink is packed with vitamins and minerals that help improve your immune system. It’s so fruity and revitalizing!
Japan Crate always arrives full, and it makes us happy trying out all these snacks! There’s something for every craving, from sweets and chocolates to salty and savory ones.
