Captain Blankenship Lemongrass & Mint Sea Mineral Liquid Soap ($24) It’s a full-sized liquid soap in a pump bottle! Imagine the scent of lemongrass and mint, it’s super refreshing. Also, it is easy to use. Just apply it directly to the body with both hands or use a washcloth, lather and rinse!
Captain Blankenship Mermaid Dry Shampoo ($24) This shampoo is perfect for those who have oily hair. It absorbs oil and gives volume and life to dull hair.
All you need to do is sprinkle it to the roots of your hair and massage your scalp using your fingers. This talc-free dry shampoo works wonders!
Captain Blankenship Golden Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray ($28) I even got a shimmer spray perfect for a summer look! If you are into styling your hair with a twist, this will work for you. To style your hair, you just have to spray a generous amount on dry or wet hair. This works on all hair colors and beams under sunlight, making your hair a head turner.
Captain Blankenship Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray ($14) Just like the Sea Salt Summer Spray, this is used for styling your hair. Style it using iron curlers or rollers to achieve your perfect beach waves! The easiest and coolest way to style your hair using this is to spray a generous amount to your damp or dry hair, braid it and lead overnight. When you take out the braid in the morning, you’ll have really beachy waves!
Captain Blankenship Mermaid Hair Oil ($34) Too much shampooing, weather changes, too much exposure to sunlight makes your hair dry, frizzy, and brittle. This hair oil serves as a remedy, it can be used as a scalp treatment that promotes hair health. It also makes your hair softer and manageable. The formula contains organic jojoba oil to hydrate our hair and scalp as it is the closest oil to our own natural sebum.
Summer is the perfect time to flaunt those beachy waves and this box gave us more reasons to do so with a curation of wonderful hair care products. They were packaged so beautifully in ocean colors and I’m in love. What makes them even more amazing is that they are made with natural and non-toxic ingredients. Having healthy hair is important yet often overlooked, and I’m glad they reminded me of that. Overall, I’m happy with this month’s featured brand and completely WOWED by the number of items in this box and the value. I hope The Detox Box continues to introduce us to more green brands with amazing and useful products!
