Vegan Cuts Snack Box is a monthly vegan food subscription that brings 5-7 organic and vegan treats each month. Each subscription box costs $22.95 monthly, and delivers mostly gluten-free snacks (always vegan!) right to your door step.

It comes in a simple box with no information.

Everything in the box!

Gluten-Free Granola – Cranberry Almond Maple flavor and Extreme Nut & Fruit by Bakery on Main. It seems like I’m getting a package every month from Vegan Cuts, and I’m not going to complain as I really like them. They are crispy, slightly sweet, and tasty. I didn’t taste that much of a difference between the two flavors though.

Tru Women – Zesty Lemon. The smooth almond center was covered with a delicious zesty lemon icing! The perfect balance between a protein bar (and how they can be dry sometimes) and a candy bar (that icing!!!) It has a slight grainy texture, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a protein bar.

Raw Rev Glo – Double Chocolate Brownie Batter. If you like chocolate brownie batter, this one will be a winner. Glistening dark chocolate bar, it has a lot of protein and is low in sugar.

Farmhouse Culture – Kraut Krisps Dill Pickle. These are delicious! They have a nice tangy spicy dill pickle taste that builds up in your mouth, but the texture is amazing. It’s like corn chips, but lighter, almost as if it was “puffed”. They are made with sauerkraut, corn flower, Bacillus coagulans and great flavoring (dill weed, garlic, cayenne pepper, black pepper).

Protes – Protein Chips tangy southern bbq. Each bag contains 15g of protein from Pea Protein Isolate. The texture is fine, although the flavoring is a bit powdery on top. Also, I can’t eat more than one or two pieces at a time before drinking as they dry out my mouth in no time. The taste is weird, not strong at all.

Justin’s Maple Almond Butter. I love Justin’s Almond Butter! Everytime I go to the USA, I’m bringing a couple of jars of that stuff in my suitcase. I prefer the Honey and the Classic ones to the Maple one, just because I use a lot of Homemade Maple Syrup in my cooking and the flavor from these are just not the same. But they are still delicious, and I still buy a jar everytime I see them! I love squeeze packs to carry in my purse for a quick snack.

Toasted Bean blend – Garbanzo and Soy Medley by Vegetarian Traveler. They can be added to salad, on top of hummus or in stir fry. I find them a bit hard for my own taste, and the flavors are very subtle.

Nutiva O’Coconut – A fun little soft cookie, it wasn’t too sweet or too coconutty. I actually enjoyed it, event thought I’m not a fan of the texture of coconut, probably because the coconut is not roasted.

Pitted Snack Olive. I love olives. Like, I ask extra olives on my pizza. I like that these ones are not packed in oil, although they are still oily but there’s no risk of juices leaking everywhere. I wish they would have been a bit more salty, but they were nice and plump!

Skout Organice Energy Peruvian Chocolate. There’s only 5 ingredients in the bar : chocolate, almonds, pumpkin seeds, dates and salt. It’s a soft bar with chunks of pumpkin seeds, and the dates bring a very nice sweetness to the chocolate.

Soft candy vegan red berries by J. Luehders. Soft gummies, they are quite fruity but I didn’t pick any of the individual flavors. They do not stick to my teeth, which is a plus for me.

Amazin’ Raisin Strawberry flavor infused. Raisin that taste like strawberry and raisin. They were nice, but the taste was overwhelming at the end. I prefer straight up raisin.

Nourish and Bloom Whole Food Shake – Dark Chocolate Truffle. There’s a lot going on in this protein shake. The fruit and vegetable blend is impressive and contains a lot of different ingredients such as carrot, cranberry, pomegranate, beet, banana, spinach, shiitake mushroom, green cabbage, and so on. The protein is from pea protein isolate, rice protein concentrate, pumpkin seed protein concentrate, sprouted legume protein, etc. I’ve tried it with only water and although the texture is not too grainy, there’s a bitter aftertaste that I don’t really enjoy, but it’s not bad either.

This month’s Vegan Cuts Snack Box was great! I like the mix of sweet and salty treats, candies and protein snacks, and the crisps vs soft variety. My favorites were the Tru Women protein bar, the Kraut Krisps, and the granola.
