Team Cosmo has included a short note to their subscribers.

On the back of the info card is a list along with a short description of all the items included in the box.

The items are wrapped with a shinny bronze paper and is sealed with the CosmoBox by Cosmopolitan logo.

Everything in my box!

Satin Eye Mask ($12) A good night’s sleep is important in every girl’s beauty regimen and an eye mask will help give you one. This mask has a very minimalistic design, the mask itself and the strap is all black and there are white eyelashes printed on the front part.

I wasn’t particularly impressed by this mask – it seemed to me to be of promotional quality. The eyelashes were cute!

Namast’ay In Bed 11oz. Coffee Mug – SIMILAR ($13.99) Since I’m not a coffee drinker, this fun and quirky white ceramic mug can be a great gift to a friend! It has a simple black printed text as the design and it’s microwave and dishwasher safe. Like the eye mask, this wasn’t anything special, and seemed like a promo item as well.

Lafco Classic Candle in Chamomile Lavender ($35) Unlike typical candles, this candle is made from a soy based blend from natural vegetable oils so it’s 100% biodegradable. The glass container can double as home decor once the entire candle has been consumed.

The box can have either a Marine or Chamomile Lavender scents, I received the Chamomile Lavender and I love the calm, relaxing scent. I was surprised that this was the only Lafco branding on the entire candle!

Satva Head Band ($10) Sustainable fashion is the latest trend. This headband is made only from all natural and organic materials only. Even the dye used is plant based and the fabric is scraps from Satva’s activewear!

The headband comes with a code for a 30% discount on your next purchase from Satva. This wasn’t a wow item, but it’s super useful to keep your hair back during activities or face cleansing.

Spongelle French Lavender Box Flower ($16) Spongelle is one of my favorite brands! This white flower shaped sponge that has been infused with a body wash that smells fantastic.

With each squeeze of the sponge, it becomes softer and softer. It actually very unique and quite fun to use!

There’s enough body wash in the sponge for 14+ showers.

Last but not the least, as a bonus the Cosmopolitan magazine is only $5 for the entire year!

This box seemed to be the safest curation possible for their debut box. There’s nothing super interesting about the selections, but apart from the sleepmask and mug they were all high quality and with an $85 value, this box was worth the money I spent on it. However, the mug and sleep mask seemed like filler items and are definitely overvalued and I wished that the LAFCO candle had their beautiful branding on the box, but I still am enjoying the benefits of the soy wax and essential oils. However this is a relatively inexpensive lifestyle subscription so I’m looking forward to checking out how this subscription develops.
