GLOSSYBOX is one of the original beauty subscriptions. You get at least 5 luxury samples per month for $21.

Sometimes they offer limited edition boxes – this is a review of the Limited Edition holiday box, which was available for $40. This box is now sold out.

This limited edition box came in a pull out drawer box!

There’s also a short note from GlossyBox.

The list of items is in a fold-out poster style.

The box is filled to the top!

Everything in the limited edition holiday GLOSSYBOX!

Skinn Cosmetics Smokey Treatment Eyeshadow Palette ($32) Achieving the perfect smokey eyes for the holidays will be easier with this palette filled with talc-free eyeshadows.

It comes in a sleek black case.

Colors included are Icy Hot, Champagne Toast, Bronze Goddess, Foxy Brown, Midnight Purple, Gunmetal, Into The Blue, and Smoldering Black.

GLOSSYBOX suggests amping  up color impact by applying the eyeshadows with a dampened applicator or brush to transfer more pigment.

The formula contains anti-aging actives, anti-oxidants, and collagen-boosting properties which all make for a smoother look on the eyelids.

Sunday Riley Modern Skin Care C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum ($85) Formulated with vitamin C, this serum provides instant moisture to the skin but also promises to deliver long-term results like fading dark spots and boosting the skin’s bounce factor.

It’s free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. The texture is quite creamy, but it doesn’t leave any greasy residue.

You can apply one to two pumps of this serum to neck, chest, and face in the morning and at night for best results.

This is such a wow item and it’s easy to see why this box sold out so quickly! Don’t want to miss the next one? Make sure to hit the bell at the top of the page for GLOSSYBOX notifications!

NCLA So Rich Infused Cuticle Oil In Dark Almond ($18) The cold weather can take a toll not just on the skin but on the nails too. This cuticle oil is super useful in keeping both the fingernails and the toenails healthy and hydrated.

GLOSSYBOX suggests massagING the oil into the nails and cuticles twice per day.

Nest Fragrances Sugar Cookie Scented Candle ($7.58) This candle smells like freshly baked cookies!

The scent is a combination of Tahitian vanilla bean and bourbon-infused caramel with delicate threads of sugarcane crystals and the rich essence of golden amber.

This candle burns for up to 8 hours!

Glamglow Poutmud Wet Lip Balm Treatment In Starlet ($17.95 Full Size 7g) This tinted lip balm treatment packs a half-dozen essential oils and butters that leaves the lips soft and hydrated.

It comes in a shiny silver container.

I like the sheer red color of the balm, and it left my lips soft and smooth – I thought this goodie was desk-worthy!

DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX ($18 Full Size .01 fl.oz.) From defining the eyes to creating a bold cat eye, a liquid brush tip eyeliner pen like this is a must-have.

This eyeliner pen is easy to hold and use. It dispenses the right amount of pigment, while the formula is water resistant and smudge proof. When using it for the first time, GLOSSYBOX suggests shaking the pen gently or press the pen tip to the back of your hand to encourage flow.

Buxom Big Tease Plumping Mascara ($22) This mascara is smooth and creamy, but the best thing about it is that it delivers maximum volume without smudging.

It makes the lashes longer and fuller!

It’s great not just for upper lashes but for lower lashes too. Here’s a tip from GLOSSYBOX: using the brush tip, coat the lower lashes in an X formation to make them look plumper.

It has a conical shaped brush that allows for a smudge-free application.

I love the Sunday Riley serum and the GLAMGLOW! The total value was $204 and was totally worth it for the Sunday Riley alone. The remainder of the items were super solid needs that form the basis of holiday looks, so I think this was a great holiday box!
