Mighty Fix September 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Mighty Fix is a monthly subscription that sends one item designed to help your family lead a healthy lifestyle to your home. Subscriptions cost $10 a month or $99 a year, and products sent will retail for over $10. Shipping is free in the United States, and if you add additional products from their online shop to your monthly subscription order (and live in the continental United States), those products will ship for free too! Customers in Canada and Australia can receive Mighty Fix, but will have to pay an international shipping charge. 15% of the cost of the subscription will be donated to the school of your choice. Neat!

This month, I received a natural plastic wrap replacement!

My Mighty Fix arrived along with a note from the curator describing this month’s fix and its retail value.

I also received a lovely recipe for honey-sweetened blueberry jam. I can’t wait to serve this with toast!

I was thrilled to receive this month’s fix! Just three days ago, I saw this product in my Nova Naturals catalogue and dog-eared the page to order it later. Now I don’t have to!

Bee’s Wrap is made in Vermont. A natural alternative to plastic wrap, it is made from organic cotton muslin, beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. New, it smells like beeswax, though the smell subsides after a few washings. It’s a bit stiff, but responds to body heat. Simply push down with your hands to create a seal or to fold your wrap up and have it stay in place. Use it to wrap cheese or store an array of fruits, vegetables or bread. It would also work well as a wrap for lunch sandwiches.

The Mighty Fix included two Bee’s Wrap Wraps: a large (13″ x 14″) wrap and a medium (10″ x 11″) wrap. The large wrap retails for $6.80, and the medium wrap retails for $6.30.

I also received detailed care instructions to help ensure that my new biodegradable, compostable and recyclable wraps will last for a full year.

I couldn’t be happier with my first fix from Mighty Fix! I wanted to try this product as soon as I read about it in my Nova Natural catalogue, and I received it as a surprise in the mail three days later. It doesn’t get much better than that! I can’t wait to see what they send me next month!
