Gentleman’s Box Review & Coupon – August 2016

Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box – including the required essentials for the savvy man.  Each month includes a copy of GQ, which is delivered separately to subscribers.  Boxes contain selected items ranging from style to grooming.

Each box includes a copy of “The Gentleman’s Post. A well-designed booklet of the products and descriptions. It also includes an editors note, a short blurb about the month’s collection and member features. Each month dedicates to someone who has had a significant influence on culture or fashion.  This month’s collection is to “Our Favorite Artist formerly know as.” Inspired by the late Prince!

Here’s everything in this month’s box except the copy of GQ ($6), mailed separately to subscribers.

Four Fifty Five Pocket Square – Seaton – $15.00: I’m loving this pocket square. It’s made from 100% cotton with a floral print and surged stitching.

Filthy Etiquette Tie – Violet – $29.99 – I’m a big fan of “linen” ties. They’re really nice and soft. This tie is made of 100% cotton. Plus, it makes a great accessory along with the pocket square. I like that it’s not a super saturated color, which makes it a nice transitional piece from summer into fall.

West End Socks – The Hunter – $15.00 – I have said it before and I’ll say it again! I LOVE SOCKS! These are a lot more conservative from the pattern socks I usually get. It’s Black with purple stripes and grey at the bases. They’re soft and can fit most men sizes 8.5 – 15.

Sunny Rebel Aspen Sunglasses – $49.00 – Ok, seriously where am I going with these?… EVERYWHERE! I almost never leave my house without a pair of shades. I love the wood print and the iridescence lenses. Not to mention that for the price, to get this in your box is like a major deal!

Crusader for Men Eye Serum – $32.00: This eye serum has vitamin C , Bark and green tea extract to reduce puffiness, aloe vera to moisturize, and Grape Seed oil and Rose hip oil to revive the skin.  You would use it twice a day, morning and night. It has a rollerball tip. To apply you use gentle pressure, and roll under each eye from inner corner to outer corner twice. Then use your finger to smooth in excess oil until it’s absorbed. I haven’t used this yet, but it says that it helps with fine lines and boosts collagen. Great! Because, I’ve been losing sleep lately. Can’t wait to use it.

Overall, this box was amazing. For the value of everything that you’re getting, it was worth it. Purple is one of my favorite colors. So needless to say I will be dressing up for a nice Sunday Brunch somewhere.
