PetGiftBox is a monthly pet subscription box for dogs or cats. You’ll get fun toys and a treat for your furbaby/BPF (Best Pet Friend) based on their size and weight.
J, age 7, loves to go fishing. He can’t wait to see what is inside the box.
That is a big fish looking at us. Will the dogs enjoy fishing? Let’s find out!
The adorable information card contains a description and price for each item.
The June items are perfect for the dog looking to broaden his/her horizons by trying out his/her fishing skills!
Daisy loves fish skin treats, and this treat proved to be no exception. The Barkworthies Salmon Skin Twist 7″ ($2.19) is 100% salmon skin from Australia. Daisy loved it!
Daisy licked her chops when we opened the Exclusively Dog Crunchy Bones Salmon & Mango Flavor Dog Treat (3 oz, $2.71). The biscuit is 100% sourced and made in the USA. She loved it.
The cats and dogs went crazy over the Dogs Love Fish Ocean Sushi Treats (3.5 oz, $8.99). The UK made treats contain cod from Norway and are wrapped in cod skins. A perfect sushi snack for doggies to enjoy!
And cats too! Bramble kept jumping on the table and trying to steal a treat during my photos. I finally let him take one. He has eaten a few more since then.
The Gone Fishing’ Burlap Dog Toy by Bow Wow Pet ($8.99) is a large-size dog toy. It has a crinkly body and squeaks. Odie and Bella enjoyed playing with it.
No one in my household except for J, age 7, was convinced that Pedro the Fish Stuffed Latex Dog Toy ($11.98) was a toy. Bella and Daisy ignored it. Odie would try to pick it up when I squeaked the toy. He would drop it quickly afterward. He did not like how the fish felt in his mouth. It is now a human toy.
Daisy enjoyed her cod skin. She’s a happy girl!
Odie is staring at Pedro the Fish with suspicion. Not a doggy toy in Odie’s eyes.
I took him outside where he found the rest of the cod skin. I had pictures of Bella and Odie playing with the Burlap Dog Toy. All you could see in the pictures were blurs of black and white fur.
We tried to persuade Odie to play with Pedro the Fish. We would squeak, he would run and pick it up, and then the poor doggy would quickly drop it. He loved playing tug of war with the burlap dog toy.
The June box is our favorite PetGiftBox when it comes to dog treats. It seemed that they were a higher quality this month. The toys were a mixed result with the dogs not liking Pedro the Fish. My seven year old decided it made a great toy, so it is not a big loss to us. The toys fit the theme, and now we feel it is time for us to go fishing! It’s my opinion that it’s best to order a longer term subscription to receive the best value for your money. The subscription price is $28.99 monthly and decreases to $18.99 monthly for a 12-month subscription.
