NOTE: I didn’t get a chance to actually try these wines yet since my husband and I have no sense of taste or smell due to Covid plus I don’t think I should be drinking when I’m taking cough medicine anyways.
2018 Wicked Bliss California Cabernet Sauvignon ($24) Cabernet Sauvignon is the most popular type of wine in the world! It tends to be dry and full-bodied with notes of black cherry and black currant. Serve it with grilled meats, or probably any kind of rich beefy dish.
2022 New Crush California Rose ($24) Rosé tends to come out in the summertime and reading the flavors associated with this wine (strawberries and watermelon) drives home that point. Food pairings include seafood, soft cheeses, and pesto.
Eccolo Ltd. Planner Pad ($10.88) There are 96 pages total in this pad. It is divided into 3 sections and the pages are perforated so you can easily tear them out. You can jot down a to-do list and detach it from the notes section that it is attached to.
Eccolo Canister with Lid ($25 listed value) I couldn’t find this canister anywhere other than eBay so the value was taken from the Vine Oh! pamphlet. It’s a sugar canister, which is kind of random because it seems like something that would be part of a set. I’m just going to pretend it doesn’t say “sugar” and turn that side against the wall. I’ll probably store tea bags or something like that inside.
Cala Exfoliating Stretch Towel ($6) This scrubby cloth expands so you can use it to reach your back, which is a wonderful idea! I think it’s made of some sort of plastic and you can soap up your body or the cloth and get to work removing dead skin cells.
Nollia Knit Headband ($12) I’m not a headband person but I know my daughter would like this, and I guess I could wear it on my walks outside when it’s cold and windy. It’s made of polyester and the shade is pretty universal, maybe ecru or oatmeal? Maybe “BEI” is short for “beige”? Cute!
Parquet Umbrella ($20 listed value) I never seem to have an umbrella when I’m away from my car so this is going into my work bag immediately! It has an animal print, leopard if I’m not mistaken, and is compact. This isn’t the same type as we’ve linked to, perhaps they no longer make travel umbrellas? This isn’t the push button type, you have to push it up manually, but the coverage seems fine, like a standard portable umbrella.
We received a little bit of this and that with the latest box from Vine Oh! I was especially excited to find an umbrella, I can always use more! The stretchy exfoliator was fun to use, and it really stretched to an insane size when I used it in the shower. I’ll save the rosé for summer (and pair it with poached salmon with cucumber sauce), but I’m sure the red wine will be opened as soon as our senses can appreciate it. I’ve already passed along the headband to my daughter and I’m planning on placing my teabags in the sugar jar.
