Spring time is in the air and the newest Beauty Box 5 has Spring written all over it. This box is called Make Room To Bloom.
Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty box with 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (sometimes full size) in every box. You’ll get makeup, nail polish and accessories, haircare, skincare, and more.

The information card gives the details on each product, the retail value, and whether or not the item is full-size. 3 out 6 items in this box were full size items. I received Colour Me Pink Fragrance, Mai Couture Blush and Highlighter papiers, Pur-Lisse Blue lotus 4-in-1 Eye adore Serum, Glamour Dolls Eyeshadow, Personail Custom Floral Nail Polish Wraps, and a bonus gift of a Custom Temporary Tattoo.

The first item in my box was the Colour Me Pink Fragrance ($1). This fragrance has a soft scent of roses. It is very light and last quite a while. The full-size fragrance retails for $20. I will definitely be on the look out for this item. There was a coupon off your first order from Milton-LLoyd Fragrances. Bonus!!!

Next is the Mai Couture Blush and Highlighter Papiers ($1.20) These are light sheets of paper with your blush and highlight colors on them. Easy to use and no make up brush required. Any busy woman on the go would enjoy having these in her purse for those late afternoon meetings or when you are heading straight to a date after work. I like the light colors they sent. Also on the back of the label is a coupon for when you want to order more. The full-size item retails for $15. Below is a swatch of the colors. As you can see they are very light.

Now on to the eyes!! The Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye serum ($30.33) is used to help fight puffiness, wrinkles, and dark circles. I know in the morning I can’t do a thing with my eyes until I cover up the dark circles (insomniac). I’ve used this a few days and it seems to be helping the dark circles. It has a gentle smell and a small dab will do ya. I did notice a slight burning sensation when I applied it but it dissipated very quickly. I am known to have sensitive skin so this may not be the case for everyone. This item retails for $65.
The Glamour Dolls Spring Makeup Collection Eyeshadow. The color of this eye shadow is called “New Dress.” They were a silver and burnt sienna color. Very light colors to go along withe the Spring theme. Now to get out of the house to try it out. This was a full size item that retails for $ 3.99.

Now I got another thing of the nail polish wraps from Personail ($12.99). These were in a lovely pink and floral print. I have sampled something similar with another company so I said why not. You apply the sticker to your nails, pull off the plastic cover and apply clear coat polish. I followed the instructions but the color just slid right off my nails. Maybe I did something wrong? I am still learning how to apply nail polish to short nails without it looking like a 3 year old did it. I like the colors very much. Very spring like. This was a full size item that retails for $12.99. There was also a coupon to save on your next order. Sorry I was too embarrassed to take a picture of my failure.

I got a bonus item this month, a customary temporary tattoo. It is a lovely design and color. Unfortunately, I tend to have a reaction to these due to my sensitive skin. I gave mine to my friend’s little girl to play dress up with. This too was a full size item retailing for $ 2.
I enjoyed my box very much. It had a retail value of over $50 and it was amazing to get the Pur-lisse in a box like this. Enjoy the Spring time!! What do you think of Beauty Box 5?

Oh I love nail polish strips!!! Sounds like you may have applied it inside out (??) the side that goes on the nail is a little bit sticky to help you position it correctly and then you kind of stretch it to the end of the nail, file off the excess, add top coat and voila!! I highly recommend trying again as it is a great way to have pretty nails in a flash (I hate waiting for polish to dry)
I’ll try again but I believe it was applied correctly. But hey my brain’s been in a tizzy the last couple of weeks. You never know. Thanks.
