Styleyes Fashion Crate is a Canadian personal stylist subscription, and one of the first in Canada! Created especially for women working in professional positions who need a classy but stylish wardrobe for their job, they offer three tiers of subscription so no matter your budget they’ll find something fabulous for you. In addition to the three levels of price point, you can also choose the frequency of your subscription, from monthly, quarterly, or just a one and done box to try it out! Monthly boxes start at $30, while Quarterly boxes start at $25. The One & Done Box is priced at $30.

The price of the subscription is the Stylist Fee, which comes off the total price of anything if you keep two or more items from the box. If you keep everything, you get 20% off the entire value of your box.

When I was selected to review this box, Styleyes had me answer the typical profile they have subscribers fill out. This ranges from questions about my age and height to even more specific questions about if I am having hot flashes (for women going through menopause or other health issues that may cause temperature sensitivity). This is a super thoughtful detail to consider!

In addition to questions about style, you’re asked about the price point you’re interested in. Styleyes has 3 tiers:

In my responses to their questions, I let them know that I’m almost always wearing skirts or dresses (not a fan of pants) and that the dress code at work is business casual. We are asked to “dress for our day” meaning depending on if we’re seeing clients, we may be more dressed up than if we’re in an office doing paperwork all day. I’m lucky that my workplace allows us to express our individual style!

A letter from my stylist greeted me, and she went into detail about why she chose these pieces.

Leopard Print Dress — I’m obsessed with the bright leopard print, the button-up design, and the nipping in at the waist that makes this dress a bit more structured than a plain shirtdress. It was really comfortable and I got so many compliments when I wore it to work. It’s a great dress for me because I get hot easily. and the fabric kept me a comfortable temperature even though it has long sleeves.

The dress looks cute with the sleeves rolled up and cuffed as well!

Kersh Black Cardigan — Also in Size Medium is this super soft cardigan by Kersh. Would you believe I don’t have any longer cardigans? The longer shape makes me look taller and just drapes nicely against my curves. It’s slightly gathered at the back to give it a bit more shape, and I really liked how this fit. The size is comfortable and I like having a longer sleeve. I LOVE that it’s black, because black goes with EVERYTHING. You can dress it down with jeans, or wear it with any colour dress.

Styleyes suggested wearing the sweater and dress with tights and booties, so I took their advice and ran with it. The autumn colours look great for fall! I liked the length of the dress, which on my shorter (5’1″) frame hit just at my knee and showed off some leg. With the bright pattern, I kept it minimal with jewelry and just wore a little bat necklace — very on-brand for Halloween!

Kersh Green Cardigan — Another warm and cozy button-up cardigan. My stylist chose the green colour to complement my red hair, The V-neck is flattering over a blouse or a t-shirt.

A little extra gift was wrapped up with my new clothes!

Hollywood Secrets Fashion Tape — A staple for stubborn buttons, slippery fabric, and other wardrobe mishaps you might run into along the way! I’ve used this product before and it’s a lifesaver. Use this clear double-sided tape to secure clothes to other items or to your own skin. I use fashion tape when a shirt gaps between buttons, or when I want to make sure my shirt doesn’t slip away to show my bra. The uses are endless.

The tiny tin is stuffed with tape, and the small size makes it great to take with you to a big event or if you’re traveling.

The price sheet breaks down the total cost of the items included. These are definitely prices I wouldn’t shy away from when shopping by myself, so for me, the Intern Crate is perfect. I love that the cardigan and dress made a complete outfit as well!

A mailer is included for return shipping. Just pop it in the mailbox or at your local post office and let them handle the rest. Whatever you keep will be charged to the credit card you subscribe with, less any discounts or stylist’s fee depending on what you keep.

Styleyes Fashion Crate was my first time with a personal stylist box, and I was a bit nervous about what I’d be sent. Turns out my stylist really listened to what I said in my initial question and answer, and sent me three pieces of clothing that fit well, suited my features, and were also really appropriate for the fall season. I got so many compliments at work, and it was really fun being able to model my new clothes! Styleyes is really easy to customize no matter what the dress code is at your office, and based on what they chose for me I would be confident letting them style me for any job!
