The Book(ish) Box is a monthly subscription of literary-inspired items. Every box contains a t-shirt and 3-4 other bookish goodies! The Bookish Box now offers the option to have a YA book included in your box! When you sign up, you’ll have the option to select one of the multiple box options.

DEAL: You can save $3.50 on your first box with coupon code WELCOME or save 15% on your entire subscription with coupon code HELLO.

The items are protectively packaged to ensure safety during shipping. There are some mint green squiggles in the box. The items came in individual plastic pouches too.

The theme for April 2019 is I Ship It.

The card lists all the contents of the box.

If you selected the book with your box you would have received:

YA Book Box – The Red Scrolls Of Magic by Cassandra Claire & Wesley Chu ($37) complete with a signed bookplate and an alternate dust jacket by Jana Runneck.

Adult Book Box – The Deepest Blue by Sarah Beth Durst ($16.99) with a signed bookplate.

Everything in my box!

Diane Dworak Edward & Bella Illustration Sticker ($4) Diane Dworak once again showcased her amazing talent with her own version of the vampire couple, Edward and Bella. Every month, subscribers get a matching sticker with the illustration on the info card.

Gabriella Bujdoso Taurus Bookmark ($8) For this month’s Taurus bookmark, Gabriella Bujdoso used Azriel from A Court of Thorns and Roses, as the model.

Collecting all these 12 zodiac bookmarks can reveal a special thirteenth piece of art! I’m so excited to get all 12 and finally reveal the last piece of art!

Chick Lit Designs Cardan & Jude Zippered Pouch ($15) The zippered pouch’s design is based on the cover of the book, The Wicked King by Holly Black, which is a real hit!

The other side of the chic pouch features a quote from the book, said by Cardan Greenbriar to Jude Duarte:

Kiss me until I am sick of it.

It’s another pouch where I can store some of the small items inside my bag, and never misplace them again!

Dust & Pages Liz & Darcy And Rhysand And Feyre Enamel Pin Set ($15) The pins are definitely stunning, and if you love shipping literary love teams, these pins are perfect!

Each pin does not only feature a beautiful design but a quote from each story as well. The upright triangle has the quote from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, which was said by Charlotte to Liz during a party. While the inverted one has a quote from Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Mist and Fury, and the line is said by Feyre to Rhys.

The Bookish Shop Tamar & Nadia Necklace ($12) The next item is precious that it is contained in a beautiful blue organza pouch. It features the pairing of Tamar and Nadia from the Grisha Trilogy.

The necklace features a heart, as Tamar is a heartrender, who is capable of damaging a person’s internal organs including his heart. She’s fearless as well!

The Bookish Shop Inej & Kaz Ankle Socks ($6) Another love team that has a lot of shippers from the Grisha Trilogy is Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa! This next item is for the two lovebirds!

The cute pair of socks has a painting-like design and a quote by Kaz to Inej when he asked her to just stay with him. Sweet!

The Bookish Shop Twilight Shirt ($24) I love this shirt! The color is really awesome!

It features the very same item on the book cover of the fourth and final book from the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, which is a chess piece for a queen. It’s a metaphor for Bella’s progression throughout the entire series. It is accompanied by a line from Edward Cullen’s wedding speech as well:

…Let’s start with forever.

Spidey Scents Elide & Lorcan Candle ($8) The Throne of Glass is a good young adult high-fantasy novel, and it’s the inspiration for this candle!

The candle is enclosed in a glass jar with a lid. The variant is chai tea and vanilla, and the candle is tagged as spicy and complicated, just like Elide and Lorcan’s relationship, where they love each other but Elide’s hate towards Lorcan coming in the way. Eventually, the two gave in to their feelings, with Lorcan choosing to give up his immortality to be with her.

Who doesn’t love good stories and lovable pairings? This box presented some fantastic literary couples who have a large following! I like the shirt and the pins, and even the candle because it smells lovely! I am also excited about completing the bookmarks, so I’m really looking forward to every box. If you’re into anything bookish, this subscription is a fun way to get stuff related to your favorite books and fictional characters. The ships sailed this month and I’m definitely satisfied!
