Everything in the October box! This month was a collaboration with Cindy Crawford and her Meaningful Beauty skincare line!
Meaningful Beauty® is a skincare system created by Cindy Crawford and acclaimed French skin rejuvenation expert, Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh. It features Superoxide Dismutase (“SOD”), a super antioxidant extracted from rare melons grown in the South of France. SOD is the “miracle molecule” at the heart of the daily routine Cindy has used to keep her skin looking agelessly beautiful for over 20 years.
Meaningful Beauty Skin Softening Cleanser ($30; $33 on the card) It’s an oil-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and non-foaming cleanser. The formula is designed to take off makeup and impurities on your face, leaving it clean, soft, and feeling refreshed. Use it by applying directly to the skin, then massaging it using gentle circular motion, and rinse it well with warm water. This cleanser seemed to work well for me!!
Meaningful Beauty Intensive Triple Exfoliating Treatment ($52) It says triple exfoliating treatment, so I’m expecting it to perform not only one but three functions, and it does! This exfoliator and mask treatment detoxifies skin and eliminates dull texture. It is formulated with 3 different exfoliators and 4 unique purifying French clays which works hard to reveal beautiful and healthy skin. I’m not really sure it’s any better than products that do the same job at a better price but worked well enough.
Meaningful Beauty Environmental Protecting Moisturizer ($65) I love this moisturizer! It doesn’t just keep my skin hydrated and supple but also protects my skin from blue light (HEV) from TVs and screens, UVA/UVB rays, and free radical damage. That’s really unique! It contains melon extract, a powerful anti-oxidant, and tetrapeptide-3 which visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Other key ingredients include hyaluronic acid, peony root extract, and helichrysum extract. I think it’s a great sunscreen to wear under makeup, too.
Meaningful Beauty Youth Activating Melon Serum ($76) This serum contains the anti-aging power of melon leaf stem cells that make skin look and feel younger. It also features botanical extracts which help improve skin tone and keep skin plump and firm. The formula is highly moisturizing and it gets easily absorbed by the skin too. I really think this serum is the star of the box!
Meaningful Beauty Lifting Eye Créme ($44; $46 on the card) I am so glad to get another eye cream as I always have worries about my eye area. This cream is rich in antioxidants which help in eliminating dark circles and rejuvenating skin. It also diminishes visible signs of aging, puffiness, and even crow’s feet! I think it had some nice firming effects, so I’m happy with it!
Meaningful Beauty Plumping Lip Gloss ($24) This lip gloss contains bark root and damiani plant extracts that make your lips appear more luscious and fully-moisturized.
The lip gloss is best worn if you want to have a natural, daytime look but you can also layer it under your chosen lip color.
It comes with a doe-foot applicator that easily makes the product glide on your lips. There’s only a slight tingle and I have to say, I think this product is engineered for its market, which is aging women, who maybe don’t want full on KAPOW lips!
Meaningful Beauty Overnight Retinol Repairing Créme ($68) Packed with melon extract and retinol, this repairing creme helps improve overall skin texture.
It helps minimize and diminish fine lines, wrinkles and dull texture, giving you a flawless complexion.
It’s the product that you apply after cleansing and after the Youth Activation Serum, for more visible results. Just massage a thin layer of the product gently into the skin every night. It really is a night cream because it’s fairly thick and heavy. I love that they included an SPF product in this box, which you need to wear if you’re using retinol!
This month’s products were overall pretty great, and Bless Box focused on a brand that definitely gives more love to my skin! I have yet another skin care regimen with all these serum, creams, and cleanser. The inclusions cover most of my worries when it comes to my skin like fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, and dryness, and it even included a really nice and lip-softening gloss. My favorites have to be the melon extract combo of serum and the repair cream. I mean, who wouldn’t want younger and flawless-looking skin? I missed the lifestyle items a bit, but overall, this curation is great and a fun change of pace. I even enjoyed reading about Sazan’s unexpected friendship with Cindy Crawford, it seemed super sincere!
This box had a ridiculous $359 product value this month, and I’m not surprised that it sold out fairly quickly!
