Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.

This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!

DEAL: You can get a $10 credit to the Barkshop with your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

This colorful jungle-themed packaging welcomed us upon opening the box!

The theme of this month’s box was Secrets of the Rainfurrest!

They also listed clues about some of the items we might find in the box.

They also encourage subscribers and their dogs to do the Rainfurrest Scavenger Hunt!

BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme.

This sheet reveals the Secrets of the Rainfurrest in a map-like design. So cute!

Everything in this month’s box!

Dozers Dental Chews ($0.83) Dental chews are vital for dogs. It helps avoid gum disease and maintain fresh breath. This one from Dozers is 100% all natural, easy to digest, and gluten-free.

Ingredients:

Potato Flour, Powdered Cellulose, Vegetable Glycerin, Water, Brown Rice Flour, Lecithin, Chicken Flavor, Parsley, and Cumin.

This shape resembles a toad and the texture helps prevent the buildup of tartar and plaque.

It’s hollow inside and has a unique shape and edge to promote thorough clean and can get in between hard to reach teeth and gums. Deanie carried it off to gnaw on right away!

Barkbox Three-Toed Monte Plush ($10) It’s a long furry sloth that has different kinds of squeaker on each part of its body.

It is the perfect size for small to medium-sized dogs.

We have three kinds of squeakers. The classic squeaker for the head, ball squeaker for the belly to get our dog really digging into it, and the crinkle squeak for the limbs. Cool, right?

Our new little friend offers different squeaks and different textures to maximize the biting and ripping experience and to fully entertain our dogs.

Barkbox Anita The Anteater Dog Plush. Anita features the full body tube squeaker with a long tail that is attached to a rope and a red ant with another squeaker.

They gave us another toy with different squeaks and textures. This toy has a lot of furs, tube squeaker, ball squeaker, and crinkle toy.

It is also best for small to medium sized dogs.

They look super cute. I’m sure my dog will have tons of fun with this.

You can play tug of war with the dog because of the t-shirt rope that is soft and stretchy!

Barkbox Bark Of The Wild Trout and Vegetable Blend Treats. This bag of healthy treats is made with all-natural ingredients and filled with vitamins and fiber.

They’re soft and chewy. No wheat, corn, and soy either!

It doesn’t have gross fillers! Instead, it has carrots and pumpkins and lots of antioxidants. It’s a treat that won’t make you feel guilty when feeding your furry friend!

Barkbox Bark Of The Wild Pork and Vegetable Blend Treats. The next bag of treats is a soft and chewy blend of pork and vegetables.

They are wheat-free, corn-free and soy-free. They are thicker treats than the trout and vegetable blend but I can tell my dog loves them all.

It has 3000kcals/kg compared to the trout and vegetable blend’s 2900 kcals/kg. The ingredients are pretty much the same except for the pork liver instead of trout.

Dean has become an expert in posing, I’m so proud (he got groomed the next day, look for a less furry pup next month)! We’re also happy that our baby has gained more squeaky friends and more delicious and healthy treats out of this box. Do you think we’re spoiling him? I think it is well deserved because he’s been always such a good and behaved dog. From the presentation of the box and the information cards to the products itself, Barkbox does not disappoint. There are no fillers, the toys are entertaining, and the treats are all healthy. It goes to show the box’s passion and care for the welfare of our beloved dogs.
