Rosy Rosa Eyelashes — A set of five false eyelashes with a dramatic doll eye style. I can’t wear falsies as they hit my glasses. Lash glue wasn’t included but nmnl did send out Dolly Wink lash glue in their first box!
Delicious Lip Cream — Lip balm scented with chocolate mint. A ramune variation was also sent out. I’ve tried this lip balm before as Kira Kira Crate sent out the strawberry chocolate version a few months ago. It’s cute lip balm.
Jelly Belly Eyeshadow — I don’t know what on earth possessed Jelly Belly to make makeup… I definitely prefer eating them to wearing them.
There’s a darker green and a pale green. Not colours I would ordinarily reach for, but stick around for some swatches.
Ayurbio Damaged Hair Mask — Ayurbio does hair care and reviews are pretty good from what I’ve found. The damaged hair mask is a leave in treatment to repair and restore hair. It contains apple stem cell extract, 16 amino acids, raw collagen, raw keratin, raw ceramide, and honey. And no sulfates, artificial colours, or mineral oil. I’m excited to try this, and it smells amazing.
S-Labo Face and Neck Care Mask — A sheet mask with a neck section as well. Ear hooks help keep the mask on your face. I have a similar box of masks by Naruko and the ear hooks help so much!
Cezanne Easy Eyeliner N — Wow, a brand I actually recognize! Cezanne does good basic makeup — liner, brows, and base makeup. It’s not super fancy but it’s decent quality and the eyeliner is a good dark brown. I’m not crazy about the applicator for me personally — I prefer a pointed tip — but it didn’t tug my skin.
Jelly Belly eyeshadow and some eyeliner swatches. The left eyeliner swatch is a few passes, the right is just one.
I was pleased to see a Cezanne item this month as it’s a recognizable brand. The hair mask is also something I’m excited for and I never say no to sheet masks. As for the rest of the box, I’m underwhelmed. nmnl did manage to send 6 items this month instead of their usual 5 — they promise “5 – 7 items each month” so there is a bit more value this month. They still need to listen more to their userbase who are requesting more well known and trusted lines. These lines are being offered as prizes for extending your plan for example, but not for inclusion in the monthly boxes, which is a bit unfair to paying subscribers.
