Cozy Crate is one of three subscriptions from Cozy Leaf (they also offer Tea Crate and Ultimate Tea Crate). Each month subscribers will receive 1 Cozy Leaf Tea plus 3-5 small batch items made in the USA. The idea is to provide “a cozy moment, snuggled in a box, delivered to your door monthly.” Cozy Crate is $29.99 a month and items sent may include “pottery, candles, diy kits, granola, handwritten stationary, stained glass, macaroons, herbal bath soaks, knitted cup cozies, sleep masks, hand-lettered journals, and the list goes on and on and on.”

There was a letter from the owner, Abby, welcoming subscribers to this new box.

There was a card with info about the tea brand…

…and suggested brewing times, water temperature, steep time, and amount to tea to use depending on type.

Next was a card with info on the “makers”, the artisans who have provided items for this month’s box. I liked reading about their backgrounds, and it made the box feel more personal.

Look at the sweet items in this box! I was over the moon and thought the products looked wonderful together and I couldn’t wait to try them out.

Elderslie Farm Triple Ginger Cookies ($5?) are from an actual farm in Kansas! These cookies were delicious and had ingredients that can be found in my own kitchen. They were crisp with a touch of bite from the ginger. Yum!

Sweet, you can see the sugar crystals!

Nectar Republic Rosemary Mint Candle ($9) is from the Herbal Collection and features soy wax, essential oils, and a cotton wick. The burn time for this 4-ounce candle is 30 hours. It had a minty fresh scent before I lit it, but that didn’t carry over while it was burning, it just smelled like “candle”. Once it cooled off, it smelled great again.

Box 113 Greeting Card Set ($12) I loved the elegant simplicity of these hand-lettered cards!

There were 8 cards, two of each design. The cards were blank inside and included white envelopes.

Cozy Leaf Kansas Sunset Chai ($8.99) I love tea! Coffee doesn’t do it for me and I have a drawer devoted to all kinds of flavors but I have never seen an herbal chai blend! This organic blend is caffeine free and has rooibos along with a host of warming spices – cinnamon, cardamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, fennel, and anise. Talk about cozy!

Not only does this smell amazing, it looks beautiful too! I loved the smooth taste and enjoyed it on cold winter evenings but this would also make a great iced or hot chai latte.

I simply adored my first Cozy Crate! The items were so nice and high quality plus I felt like I had received a care package from my mom! Did I mention that these items are all from small, woman-owned American businesses? That gives me the warm fuzzies, just like this subscription did!
