GOLDFADEN MD Fresh A Peel Multi Acid Resurfacing Peel ($85) Love this! It’s a brightening and exfoliating treatment with ingredients like lactic acid and fruit enzymes. Lactic acid and fruit enzymes gently minimize fine lines, while bilberry extract lessens hyperpigmentation and maple sugar soothes inflammation.

If your skin concerns include aging skin and hyperpigmentation, this is exactly what you need. Ideal for acne-prone skin and oily skin plus it’s paraben-free, gluten-free, certified cruelty-free and natural – nothing you should be worried about!

The peel takes about 3 minutes, about twice a week. I saw no issues but the container says 1-3 minutes “depending on tolerance” which makes me suspect some people might. My skin was super-soft after testing it out!

The hand lettering is super nice and the colors are all lovely too. The calendar was printed on high-quality white paper – luxurious and durable!

DAILY CONCEPTS Your Hair Wrap Towel ($18) This hair wrap is pretty useful. Quick dry, check! Comfortable fit, check! Comes with a reusable travel pouch too.

Wrap around your hair, button it, and then you’re done. I love this for winter – reduces chills, and of course, you can keep your hair back when doing your face.

Manduka eQua Mat Towel in Playa ($38) A yoga mat that is absorbent, quick-drying, and slip-resistant!

It’s lightweight with a suede-like feel and stylish enough if you want to bring it outdoors or to a yoga class. This mat of a recyclable synthetic material. Hooray for eco-conscious items! This item is perfect for hot yoga.

Sourcebooks, Inc. Instant Happy Notes ($8.99) Daily dose of instant happiness. How colorful and fun!

This would make for a perfect New Year’s gift. Sometimes, it’s really the simplest things and thoughts that can make our day! Includes cute illustrations, inspirational quotes, and even creative suggestions on making your day a happy one! I will personally use these for my kids, but I could see sticking them on random doors at the office, just to make someone smile!

DEAN & DELUCA Peppermint Loose Leaf Tea ($10.75) This tea is 100% peppermint and the menthol flavor is relaxing and calming (great for soothing tummies too). I’m not a tea drinker so I’m going to steep this in some greek yogurt and freeze it. Wish me luck!

Glade N°3 Free Coconut and Beach Woods Candle ($4.99) Who can’t use a candle? The Glade candle was a bit surprising, but this is a “special extra” (aka sponsored item) in the box. I was definitely curious!

We couldn’t find anything online about this candle, but the fragrance notes are starfruit, beach woods, coconut, hibiscus, and cream.

It smells like the beach, and what a great reminder to pull out all my tropical candles (I start burning them in January!). Yum! I wouldn’t have even known this was a Glade candle except for the box. Impressed!

The Goldfaden is a really nice hero item, something you’d expect in a luxury subscription, so it’s really great for this box. Otherwise, POPSUGAR Must Have Box January 2017 is mostly about fun little items to help organize and brighten the new year. This box might be a miss if you can’t use the face peel, but with a value of about $184, this box is still an awesome deal with fun goodies even without the peel!
