Everything in this month’s box!

Bark & Co Lucy’s Magic Bus Toy ($8) A groovy love bus! This one has a GREAT squeaker!

Bark & Co Ozzie the Hippie ($10) I have to admit – this guy looks like the quintessential Vermont hippie – I’m totally sending it to my sister-in-law, who will totally dig it. I can’t help but do it.

Barkworthies Lamb Ears ($4) Lindy is a fan of anything animal-part and likes to dig, bury, re-locate, and repeat, until she finally inhales it all privately. This is a repeat from last month. Although the information in the app says $4, it’s really overpriced.

Sojos Good Dog Chicken Pot Pie Dog Treats ($5) And this is marked $5 on the app but really is priced more like $7, so it sort of all evens out with Barkbox! I absolutely love the tiny size of these treats for my pigdog, who always wants a treat as a reward for absolutely everything, but needs to maintain her girlish figure. She’s a fan of these wheat- and corn-free chickeny bones!barkbox january 2016 IMG_4491

Grandpaws Duck & Pomegranate Soft Chews for Dogs ($7) Similarly, these treats are just the right size for my girl. She’s a huge fan of duck and I liked that these weren’t too fatty plus have antioxidants. Plus I can show her the feeding chart that says only 4-6 treats per day. I know she’s totally going to pay attention to that!

Overall the value is really steady – typically around the month to month cost of the box, but you do save a lot more with a long term subscription (as always, I’m on the annual plan!). According to the card there were $34 of items in the box this month. I was happy to see that the overall value of the box wasn’t inflated this month and I love that Barkbox does the work for me in selecting tasty treats and fun toys that Lindy loves!
