Loot Crate‘s Star Wars Limited Edition Box is a one-time special edition box ($100) absolutely packed with awesome Star Wars goodies! I open a lot of boxes (a lot!) and this arrived in the middle of a massive unboxing session but we had to open it right then! Speaking of massive – this box is absolutely enormous!
Here’s what was promised in the box: A limited edition curated collection of cool Star Wars collectibles and gear for Jedi, Padawans, Bounty Hunters, Rebels, Stormtroopers, Scruffy-Looking Nerf Herders and serious fans of Star Wars. Nine items, including an exclusive BB-8 raglan t-shirt, $150+ value for $100 USD Domestic/$130 USD (VAT included if applicable) International including S&H! In addition, 20 randomly-selected Star Wars™ fans will receive a Funko Hikari C-3PO variant figure valued at $80!
Can you imagine getting this underneath your Christmas tree? It’s really amazing!
The presentation and dividers are a really great feature of this box, which raised the bar for all limited edition geek boxes!
The information card lists the names of all the items.
Too many things to really get into one photo!
STAR WARS: Vader Down (2015) #1 ($4.99) Loot Crate Exclusive Variant Edition
When Darth Vader accidentally finds himself facing off against the Rebel Fleet on his own, the rebels will learn the true strength of the Dark Side of the Force! Once Vader crashes on a nearby planet, the Rebellion is willing to risk everything for this once-in-a-lifetime chance to take out one of their biggest enemies! Luke! Vader! Leia! Aphra! Han! Chewie! And all manner of Droid, good and evil!
Loot Crate Exclusive BB8 Raglan Tee – Great material and HUGE design, it’s a really fun vintage style and I love how the 8 is BB8 itself!
Pop Taters Darth Vader Mr. Potato Head ($21.97 – but this one was boxed for Loot Crate) This is an awesome desk toy! Young Padawans will just think of it as an awesome toy! I was psyched to see something a bit different than a Funko this go-round. We love them but it’s also great to get something a little different!
My best friend was so excited about it she made me take her picture. Should have known better Jen! Of course it goes in the blog!
Loot Crate Exclusive Rebel Alliance Gadget Pouch – This dopp kit features a side handle, front zip pocket, Rebel Alliance logo, and inner mesh pocket.
It also has a fantastic liner material! This item looked way better in person than it did in the spoiler photos.
The Star Wars Little Golden Book Library ($20.22) This is obviously a hot holiday item, because it’s gone up in price by $3 and out of stock just in the past couple of days. I’m not sure if people without kids will appreciate it, but our family did, and we’re saving it for a holiday gift. We think the movies aren’t right for our kids (especially our middle child), so we’re waiting a few years to involve them in this particular obsession on film, but the books will be great primers!
Star Wars metal Earth Kylo Ren Command Shuttle 3D Metal Model ($11.90) I did not take any photos of Jen’s failure at this model. The pieces are extremely tiny and you definitely need pliers for it (it says optional, but they’re not). She had just finished making some jewelry for me, so I put the blame on the model. We didn’t love this item, but it will be good for a model geek. I’ll have to take a crack at it while watching TV.
Loot Crate Exclusive Star Wars Jacquard Scarf – This is pretty. freaking. fabulous. I nearly wore it today even though it’s hot outside! It’s huge – no skimping on design, length, or width, and it’s just a fun holiday look for Star Wars geeks & fans!
Wrapped around once there’s plenty of length!
Loot Crate Exclusive Star Wars AT-AT Walker Beanie – This is totally my style and I’ll wear it all the time. In fact, I’m planning on giving the scarf to my husband (after I wear it a few times – I’m so greedy) so we can dork out together and match, but Jen tried this one on too, because she couldn’t resist.
Darth Vader Mug ($19.95) Yes, many sounds were made when picking up the mug and pretending to drink from it. Jen took it downstairs for immediate presentation to Tom and did the exact same thing! (We were so excited by all the contents they had to be distributed immediately). He was super excited! Kylo Ren and BB8 were variant characters for this item.
