November 2013 Barkbox

This month was all about dogs and the dinner table. Table scraps aren’t love.

N-Bone Pearly Whites Chew Bone ($4.50) Anyone who has taken their dog for a teeth cleaning at the vet knows what a big ordeal it can be. Save your friend the hassle by letting him chew his teeth clean and hopefully spare some anguish at the vet.

Etta Says! Premium 7 Inch Chew ($3) Etta creates chews out of non-traditional proteins. This real deer chew is a unique treat.

PLAY Garden Fresh Zucchini Toy ($9) My dog’s favorite food is squash, so this toy is highly appropriate. Fluffy exterior with a classic squeaker inside. Made to standards for infant toys – perfect for our family.

Happy Howie’s Turkey Sausage Treats ($3) These are great dense sausages you slice up and dole out over time. Cuts easily and isn’t greasy.

Bocce’s Bakery Truffle Mac & Cheese ($9) Real cheese and truffle oil make this wholesome biscuit cravable… But please remember it’s for your dog!

My husband calls Barkbox a monthly box of goodness for your best friend and he loves having something made especially for our dog. He also said that the greatest thing about this box is that all the food products are made in the USA from wholesome ingredients! Our November Barkbox had a value of about $30, which I thought was fantastic. Our dog is a 14 pound miniature schnauzer and everything in the box was appropriate for our baby girl! She brought the zucchini with her on her trip home this weekend :) Visit Barkbox before the Cyber Monday deal disappears! You can enter the giveaway for 3 months of Barkbox below! Ends 12/23 at 3am Eastern. US Only!

Treats are always welcome but they like stuffed animals, as well. My sister-in-law’s dog has a plush toy a day habit. He tears through them so fast it’s unreal. So my brother-in-law picks up stuffed animals en masse at thrift stores and yard sales to feed his addiction. 🙂

My dog loves this stuffed squirrel. We buy one now and then and it lasts less than a week, but she loves it. Other than that it’s a good old tennis ball!

My two dogs share one BarkBox and they love it! One of my dogs is a fairly aggressive chewer, especially given his size (he is a 30 lb Boston mix). The zucchini lasted us a little over a week, which is impressive. My two dogs also LOVED it. I’m not sure how they do it, but Bark Box seems to have some rather keen insight into what toys will make my dogs go nuts. Some of their favorite toys have come from Bark Box, and my boys are very picky about their toys.
