Snack Crate is a monthly subscription that provides the most interesting snacks and features new and exciting places from around the globe. They offer three sizes of the box: the $14 mini with 5 snacks, the $26 original box with 10-12 snacks, and the $49 premium box with 18-20 snacks.

We switched our box from the crazy gigantic premium box to the original box. I admit I’m having some FOMO about it!

When you sign up, your first box will be from a country of your choice.  You have the option of adding a drink for $6, which I think is a pretty pricey option, and I passed.

They also included a note about how you can enjoy the contents of the box better. Since heat can affect the conditions of the items, make sure that you place the contents in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours before you start enjoying them.

Each month, there are also stickers that represent the featured country.

For June 2018, we got snacks from New Zealand!

The information leaflet features fun facts about New Zealand.

It lists all the snack items inside the box, which are grouped into different box levels: Mini, Original, and Premium.

Aside from Premium, you’ll also see some drink upgrades printed on the leaflet.

The leaflet is so detailed, providing necessary information every consumer should need to know about the treats.

All the nutritional content of each item is shown at the back of the leaflet.

It’s great that the nutritional content of the products here is already listed in the leaflet. This helps you understand how much calories you’re taking in with these snacks.

The box is full of treats!

The postcard features a very beautiful scenery somewhere near the sea with the hashtag #KiwiCrate. Don’t think you’re going to get quite what you’re looking for with that one!

Everything in this month’s box!

Eta Munchos Spicy Tomato. It’s a pack of crunchy corn puffed snacks with a spicy tomato flavor. Each piece is light and very crispy. It’s a little sour and a little hot, which I find very addictive.

Eta Ripple Cut Chicken. The chips are made from premium potatoes grown in New Zealand. It’s free from artificial colors and flavors. Each piece is thin and rippled, while the taste is savory and salty. The chicken flavor is noticeable without being overwhelming.

Whittakers Slab Peanut. It’s a chunky single serve slab of Whittakers original chocolate recipe that contains 33% milk chocolate, 17% milk powder, 35% premium roasted peanuts, cocoa, and emulsifier. Engraved on top of this rich chocolate bar is the logo of Whittakers. The roasted peanuts add a nutty twist and a nice crunch to the chocolate bar! So yummy!

Pineapple Lumps. This pack contains a number of chewy chocolate mini bars with juicy pineapple filling. Each piece is so soft and fluffy. I never thought pineapple and chocolate could taste this good together! We so wanted more of these!

Pascall Milkshakes. There are five pieces of this vanilla flavored chewy candy in the box. It’s made with real milk, so it’s really creamy.

Whittakers K-Bars. These fruity candy bars are sweet and chewy. We received one in orange and another one in pineapple. Both are jampacked with flavor!

Pixie Caramel. Another classic chocolate treat from New Zealand is Pixie Caramel! The snack has a sweet caramel filling and is covered in rich dark chocolate. The chocolate is crumbly, but it tastes really good together with the caramel.

Cadbury Moro. This chocolate bar is made with dairy milk chocolate, caramel, and nougatine whip. So chewy and delicious! The different layers of texture make it such an enjoyable snack. It’s creamy on top, crunchy in the middle, and chewy inside!

Wonka Fabulicious Sherbet Fizz. Something from the Willy Wonka factory! One pack contains two raspberry-flavored licorice sticks. The raspberry definitely put a fruity twist to the usual licorice. Another thing that made this snack unique is the fizzy sherbet at the center!

RJ Twisters Grape & Sour Lime. It’s a grape-flavored hard candy stick that does not contain artificial colors or flavors. It really looks like it’s twisted! The key to this candy’s sourness is the filling at the center, which is made from super sour lime.

Cadbury Buzz Bar. This one’s a soft, fluffy marshmallow coated in milk chocolate and caramel. So yummy and sweet, I wish we have more! The bar is soft on the inside, chocolate-y on the outside.

It’s another awesome month for Snack Crate! This time they brought us to New Zealand, with a lot of crispy crackers, sweet and tangy chewy candies, and mouthwatering caramel chocolates. As usual, Snack Crate is so jampacked from top to bottom of the box, so we’re very satisfied. It’s the ideal subscription for snackers who want a great variety of treats every month!
