I can’t wait to see what’s inside!

The items were tucked into recyclable packing materials.

A card gave some ideas of self-care rituals to complete in an allotted amount of time.

Next, I found a card about how to use the products in this box.

Each item was listed as well as directions. It also had a tip and the key benefit of each product. The QR code takes you to the Dirty Lamb website.

A third card listed the suggested order in which to use the products.

The back of the card came with a free gift offer (while supplies last).

Everything in my box!

Chocolate Lip Scrub ($22) I have never been a fan of chocolate flavored/scented beauty products (they are so artificial) but I can happily say that this isn’t one of those products, any chocolate smell is natural, like a hint of cocoa powder.

This is a lip scrub made with sugar, coconut oil, cocoa powder, sweet almond oil, shredded coconut, and vitamin E. It’s practically edible, and since it’s going on the lips (and a bit may potentially get in your mouth), then this beats the heck out of scrubs with microbeads and petroleum products.

Just a little pinch is needed, probably smaller than you think. I rubbed it all over my lips with my finger, then tissued it off before finally rinsing with a warm, wet washcloth. The product was scrubby without feeling harsh and left my lips soft afterwards!

Dirty Lamb Apricot Cleansing Oil ($42) I’ve encountered two different types of oil cleansers before: those that turn milky and rinse away when encountering water, and those that stay oily and require a second cleanse. This is the second type.

It is made with rice bran oil, apricot seed oil, argan oil, plus lavender, ylang ylang, and cardamom essential oils.

I pumped it about four times into my hand and then massaged it onto my face. I didn’t use this on eye makeup. I rinsed with a warm cloth and some of the makeup was on the washcloth. I followed with a foaming cleanser and I found more makeup on the washcloth afterwards. It smells mainly of the lavender with with a warm undertone from the cardamom.

Dirty Lamb Rose Petal Toner ($38) Toners are a step that I generally skip due to having dry skin. This is the misting type, but it can be sprayed on a cotton ball before applying to the face.

The ingredients are rose water, aloe water, witch hazel, and water water.

I gave it a good shake before spritzing but again, used it on a cotton pad too. It smells mostly like witch hazel with a hint of rose. It can be sprayed on during the day to refresh the skin.

Dirty Lamb Ultra Day Serum ($46) Face oils can make for a nice base under makeup, but don’t forget to use SPF when wearing this as it has lemon oil, and don’t wear it at all if you’re going to be in the sun for a prolonged period of time.

The other ingredients are rice bran oil, hemp seed oil, neem oil, sunflower seed oil, and sage essential oil.

This goes on like a silky dream, and it has a light earthy herbal citrus scent. I usually apply this right after my morning shower to give it time to soak in and then after doing the rest of my morning routine I apply SPF and then makeup.

Dirty Lamb Ultra Night Serum ($54) For nighttime we have an oil blend that has a relaxing scent and that is supposed to keep the skin hydrated all night long.

Wheat germ, sweet almond, grapeseed, avocado, hemp, and jojoba oils plus ylang ylang, lavender, and orange essential oils are in here.

I sniffed the bottle after opening and it had some residue on the outside of the bottle that was rancid but the oil inside the bottle was fine. I massaged several drops onto my face and decided that I liked the scent and feel so much that I just continued massaging! The scent, which is mainly from the lavender, lasted for a while afterwards. My skin didn’t feel greasy in the morning, just soft.

The September/October Dirty Lamb X See New Skincare Box was quite a lovely experience! The products are super natural, which means you should use them up within a few months of opening them, since they don’t have preservatives and the oils will turn rancid. I have received Dirty Lamb lots of times in the past but they have new packaging and it all looks great, and I appreciate that they used glass containers for everything. They also sent some new-to-me products and they worked well and felt luxurious and smelled amazing but not perfumed or artificial. The collection has a retail value of around $202 so this was a bargain at the subscription price of $47!

I can’t say enough good things about this company. When I requested they send this box to my friend for her birthday, they were more than willing to oblige. Friendly, professional, and amazing boxes. 👍👍👍
That is wonderful to know Dia, and I hope your friend loves her box!
I really appreciated receiving this set as the weather in my area transitions from the summer heat and humidity. Winters can be brutal here and my skin gets extremely dry and irritated so I look forward to using these luxurious oils.
I hope it helps Cindy! Those oils sure do feel luxurious, and I like that they don’t smell too strongly either. It may take us a while here in Texas before we experience some cold weather, but I am sure looking forward to a drop in temps!
I loved that you said “water water”. It made me chuckle at a family memory. A while ago we’d always have flavored water in the house, and ever since I can remember we had this thing where when one of us is pouring drinks for a meal we’d ask, “would you like water (meaning flavored water) or water-water”, lol. A simple memory, but it makes me smile. 🙂
I am so glad you got a laugh out of that Luna! In my house we have water water or fizzy water to distinguish between the two 🙂
Your family memory made me smile, Luna! I know someone who calls carbonated water “mommy water” because that’s what their mom prefers. Usually that would be code word for wine or some other alcoholic beverage, but in this case just bubbly water. 😂
