Although we generally are relevant to the season etc, they are not “curated” to a theme like “let’s garden!” or “Let’s get physical!”. There are a lot of boxes out there that focus on that aspect, but ours is blowing your mind with variety and value :)” The box is huge! This company is a company that is not afraid of shipping costs. The box is full of items! I wonder what is in the box?
There are a few big items in the box! The brown and white item looks like a blanket! I forgot to put the cutting board into the photo. This review is for the Standard Box. Boxes may vary greatly in variation.
The Typhoon Typhoon Jams Movie Glass Work Surface Protector ($19.99) is a fun spoof of Jaws? It is made from tempered glass and can withstand heat up to 425 degrees. It has non-slip silicone feet. The boys find it funny because they both know about Jaws.
The YardPlay 3 PC BBQ Grill Set ($5.00 on 13 Deals, Retail $20.00) is part of the May Spoiler. The three piece stainless steel barbecue set has a serrated spatula that also opens bottles, serrated tongs, and a heavy duty fork. It’s a great set to have on hand if you are starting out or have more than one chef cooking! The tools measure approximately 18.5″ long.
The YardPlay Barbecue Grill Light ($20.00 when bundle with the above utensil set at 13 Deals, $20.00 retail) is the second part of the May Spoiler. Some people may see a Grill Light. I see a clamp light that will be used for the farm. The coil feels solid and is easy to manipulate.
I tried it out after placing the 4 AA batteries into the light. It works! This light will be going up to the farm.
The blanket and matching pillow ($20.00) reminded me of Bella. I accidentally threw away the plastic wrapping before writing the review. It is a 100% polyester blanket made in China. I did not find it on 13 Deals. I am guesstimating the price.
The blanket measures 52″ x 62″ . The pillow and blanket matches perfectly.
Bella LOVED being on the blanket while enjoying the great outdoors. She thought it was the best thing in the world. The pattern side is soft while the backing feels more like cotton. My sister claimed it while visiting. She’s says it’s soft and likes how the pillow and blanket matches.
The Mustache 3-ply Beverage Napkins 40 count ($2.99) are a fun addition. We go through a lot of napkins in this household! I’m still not big on the mustache trend no matter how many items have mustaches on it.
The Marvel Iron Man 3 Wall Decals – 24 Count ($1.49 on 13 Deals, $19.99 retail) were a big hit with J, age 7. J put the wall decals up immediately. Now he wants to decorate our hallway. He found them easy to apply.
Where has this been all my life? I am the only one that hates soggy cereal. The Cobble Creek Non-Soggy Cereal Bowl (appx $7.50-$10.00 based on similar designs) keeps the milk and cereal separate. Grab a spoonful of cereal and dunk it in the milk or have them take a ride down the ramp. It’s one of those ideas that I wish I have thought of first!
The May box was full of awesomeness. My little guy was excited about the Iron Man 3 wall decals and couldn’t wait to put them up on his wall. My sister and Bella, the Rat Terrier, loved the blanket and matching pillow. Everything will be used in the box. The items arrived in excellent working condition with no issues. It’s a fun box for those that love to receive a variety of mystery items!
