Genuine Articles brings five products made by Muslim-owned small businesses to your door every quarter. Your box will include wonderful handmade items and unique goods made by artisans. A percentage of your purchase is donated to a charity.

The Spring theme is Refresh, Renew, and Restore! I like their information card. Not only does it include items and the website, it lists the tags needed for social media. It’s thoughtful of them and makes it easier for all to further support the artisans.
The spring 2016 charity is Muhsen. There are actions items listed that subscribers can take to help Muhsen.
Muhsen is a non-profit organization that strives to create a better understanding of Disabilities in our communities and building a better future for these “Special” People of Jannah, in shaa Allah where they are welcomed and all their needs are addressed as they are accepted by all.
Here are the items for the Genuine Articles Spring Box. It’s a great variety of items!
The Friday Collective Greeting Cards are beautiful, well-made cards inspired by wisdom. The Beauty is a Gift Thank You Card ($4.50) and the “Shine Like the Universe is Yours!” birthday card ($4.50) are full-color prints printed on smooth FSC-certified cover stock.
The cards come with an information card explaining the quote. It’s a thoughtful gesture that adds meaning to the card and inspires contemplation. Quality cards are always appreciated in my household. I love sending them out.
The beautiful beaded wrap bracelet ($59.40) by Hannah’s Gemstone Jewelry is a dainty, breathtaking bracelet. Each subscriber received a bracelet valued between $40.00 and $72.00. The passion that Hannah, the artisan, has for her jewelry is evident when reading her website. Every bead is carefully chosen for her creations.
My sister was here when I opened the box and fell in love with the bracelet. The bracelet came with a small information card detailing the stones selected. The sterling silver and steel bracelet features Botswana Agate beads and Czech glass/pearl beads. It’s stunning and easily my sister’s favorite jewelry piece.
The Pure N Healthy Ultonic ($19.95) is an excellent way to renew, refresh, and restore yourself during the spring season. It has seven amazing ingredients that help your body heal. The formula helps maintain immunity, is anti-inflammatory, combats allergies, is full of antioxidants, restores system function, is completely natural, and aids with daily health.
The brochure details the incredible benefits of the seven ingredients. The seven ingredients are turmeric, cinnamon, bee propolis, black seed oil, ginger, garlic, and organic honey. My sister claimed it because she is hoping it will help her with her allergies during the spring season. She described the taste as being unlike anything she has ever tasted before. She feels it will take her a few days to adjust to it, but it is not a taste that bothers her.
The Simply Mallows ($8.00) are gourmet marshmallows. We received Oolong Orange Blossom Marshmallows, which is coming soon to their store. The gelatin is Halal gelatin.
My sister and I both tried the marshmallows. It has a sweet orange tea taste that satisfies the sweet cravings. The orange tea flavor is from the orange blossom tea.
The “Refresh, Renew, and Restore” decal ($5.00) ties the whole box together and is reflective of the spring theme. The decal is designed by Asma of Sweet Crafts. My sister also claimed the decal for herself to remind her to refresh, renew, and restore.
Additional information about the artisans was included in the box.
The Spring 2016 Genuine Articles Box was full of items created by Muslim artisans passionate about their work. The variety of items is excellent. I like that there were variations for the bracelet and marshmallows. The items fit well with the spring theme of refresh, renew, and restore. The box contained a value of double the cost and a percentage of the profits are donated to charity. My sister loved the box and would have taken the entire box home if I let her. Her favorite item is the bracelet. I love the greeting cards!
