OK, so the LLC named ” Retention” has purchased Beachly. They formerly owned Causebox/ Alltrue, which I never subscribed to.
Beachly has had 2 really cool things happen but they may be getting rid of inventory.
1) I bought the ” first box” with the offer of a low price and Beachly merch. I received things which have been only in recent boxes. 3 pullovers, 1 pair of pants ( I chose all of this), then some jewelry I like and am wearing now, and 2 beauty items I’m not familiar with but look high end. Also, a large tube of sunscreen that won”t expire for quite some time. A really cute baseball type cap with ” Salty”” embroidered on front.
I was so happy not to get Turkish towels, I think I would have been happy with almost anything else.
I have 3 large orders coming from the Member Shop. As soon as they arrive, I’m cancelling my subscriptions to the Beauty Box and the Lifestyle Box. Life is too short to worry about the integrity of the seller. I got a lot of things off eBay for next to nothing as well.
I am so sad they sold out to a not- great holdings company or other type management firm.
The people that purchased Causebox (AKA Alltrue) also purchased this box. Be warned!
Total bummer! I hope they don’t go changing everything.
I’m replying to my original comment to say that I’ve never had any problems with Beachly after the ownership change.
Which box merged or messsed up, Beachly or Causebox?
I was a new subscriber to Beachly and am being shipped 14 items, much more cute clothing than was offered to established members. I don’t think it’s ” fair” but I’m also not complaining or bragging.
Every person who is new actually can now choose their first extra box offered with a new subscription. You choose item by item, not just that they throw a box together. I was really happy with most choices offered new subscribers!!! 🙂
