The January 2025 Cloth & Paper theme was all about the Evening Routine and came with stationery products and helpful items to make my bedroom feel a bit like a luxurious hotel room, keep an eye out for those little touches below. I received a notepad folio, pens in all sorts of ink shades, page flags that look like a bar of chocolate, and more!
When you start your subscription to Cloth & Paper you will indicate which size planner you own (there are 11 options to choose from) and you can expect 7-9 unique planning and stationery items each month along with two writing instruments.

The products were individually wrapped and all were in perfect condition.

Previous boxes had a card that showed each item but it looks like from here on out the card is smaller, lists each item, and has a picture that seems inspired by the theme. You can watch an unboxing video at the Cloth & Paper website to see each item.

One way to keep your planner in order is to separate it into sections, and this Relax Dashboard is perfect for the job. It’s printed on cardstock and is ready to be placed and put into use.
I thought the Yearly Foldout Insert was helpful. Each side shows six months yet it folds back into the size of a single sheet. I can fill it in with important dates and see it at a glance!

You know how hotels have a pen and a pad of paper next to the telephone (wait, do hotels still have telephones?)? The Notepad Folio is generously sized at 10″ x 7″ and has plenty of sheets for notes, lists, and more. There’s even a loop for a pen, like the one shown later in this review.

Need a place for your rings, change, or a bedside drinking glass? Set it on the vegan-leather Trinket Tray! It measure 5.5″ x 5.5″ and has a pebbled texture. It’s a neutral shade of cream and the backside has a rubbery backing so it won’t slip and slide.

Yet another way to keep track of those racing thoughts just before the lights go out is to write them down on the Valet Tag Sticky Notes. Deal with that stuff later.
At first glance I thought there was a tasty treat in my box but no, it’s Chocolate Page Flags! They were wrapped in foil and when opened I found four stacks of page flags. Cute!
Another item I used to find in hotel rooms was letter writing paper and envelopes so Cloth & Paper sent something similar. The Letter Set came with three cards that are lined but otherwise blank on the back and each one came with an envelope.

The Pocket Calendar shows us March and can be clipped into a planner. The New Era Key Card looks just like one you might find while traveling, right down to a “magnetic” stripe on the back. Details!

The Monthly Pen Set came with two types of pens. The first one would pair perfectly with the Notepad Folio shown earlier, and the ink is a beautiful shade of burgundy. The nib is 0.5mm.
The second “pen” was actually a set of five pens with 0.4mm nibs. They even came in their own holder! The pens write in the shade shown on the barrel.

Cloth & Paper really brought the luxurious hotel vibe with their January 2025 Intention Box! There were a lot of touches that one would expect to find while staying away from home, like the key card “magnet” stripe and the wrapped chocolate candy. The items not only looked the part though, they are also useful! I especially liked the Notepad Folio and the burgundy pen that pairs with it nicely. The trinket tray is simple yet looks luxe, and the year-at-a-glance insert is helpful and travel-friendly. All of the other items rounded out the box nicely and when used as a whole they definitely make my nightstand feel like a place I can write down my thoughts and get organized before going to bed.
If you have the intention of organizing your morning routine, then keep your eye on February’s box!
