The December 2024 Cloth & Paper came packed with helpful accessories as well as stationery items to help me reflect on the past year. I also received new pens (one of them was super fancy), a storage box, and zipper bags for hauling my products around. Of course that’s just a few of the items included, read on to see more!

When you start your subscription to Cloth & Paper you will indicate which size planner you own (there are 11 options to choose from) and you can expect 7-9 unique planning and stationery items each month along with two writing instruments.

There’s always a card that shows a picture of each item and that gives some info on those items on the reverse.

Chaos Makes The Muse Dashboard Dashboards can be used to separate different areas of a planner, and they tend to have a statement on them for inspiration. This one has raised letters and is printed on heavy, textured cardstock.

I was pretty thrilled to receive a set of two Storage Holders! These vinyl zipper bags are clear-ish and can be used to hold planning supplies, makeup, or whatever else you might put in a zipper bag.

The Archive Planner Insert is perfect for those who like to write about past accomplishments, large or small. Each sheet is divided into four grid-lined spaces with room to write a date, category, title, and musings. The last page has a sample to get me started.

Storage Box This year we received a storage box that has a pull-out drawer, complete with ribbon pull. The box can be used to hold last year’s planner or inserts, or use it to store pens, sticky notes, hair accessories, and more.

At the top left is a Mindset Card that can be filled in with your mantra of the year (mine is a toss up between “work smarter, not harder” and “less is more”). Next to that is the February 2025 Pocket Calendar, which is flat rather than a popup like last year’s cards. On the bottom is the Reflection Prompt Card, which functions as a mirror in a pinch (as demonstrated by my phone’s reflection) and it has a prompt to inspire deep thoughts.

Planner System Cards (Set of 3) I have to admit that I’m not sure what the purpose of this card set might be. I even watched a demo on the C&P IG page and still don’t get it but if you do, then please let me know in the comments!

Monthly Pen Set Our pen set for December came with a Sakura Gelly Roll black gel pen and a classic Fountain Pen, complete with ink you need to add yourself (I would need to watch a YouTube video demo because I have no idea how to use this type of pen). The wooden barrel feels smooth to the touch and the tip sure looks sophisticated.

Sticky Note Holder & Stencil Not only did we receive a stainless steel note holder and notes, we received a stencil to customize our own notes! Place the stencil over the note, making sure to flip it to either the side with circles or boxes, whichever you prefer, then use a steady hand to make your marks. I did better at making the boxes rather than the circles but practice makes better. The bottom of the holder has rubbery feet to keep it from marking up my desk.

The December Cloth & Paper box looked sleek and sharp, with no pops of color on any of the items, but a shimmer of gold and silver appeared here and there. There were several items that I especially liked and thought were useful, like the storage box, zippered bags, and notepad holder and stencil setup. Cloth & Paper is perfect for those who like smooth, streamlined accessories and who like to document all of the moments of their lives, and this month’s box certainly had space for logging the past year’s activities. Bring on 2025!
