Cat Kit by Pusheen Box is a themed subscription box designed just for cats! The theme for Winter 2024 was Staying Cozy and the items were decorated with Pusheen and friends wearing scarves, sitting in front of evergreen trees, and just looking serene and cozy. Foldable Cat Hut I was surprised at how big this cat hit was when I snapped it into place. Zoey likes her napping nest in her cat tree, or she sleeps on my daughter’s bed, but she shows no interest in entering this festive orb, maybe because it moves if you’re not careful. The inside is lined with plush fabric for extra comfort.
Blanket This cozy blanket is cat-sized of course and since our cat loves to sleep on my daughter’s bed, that’s where this will live from now on. It’s soft and plush and has that Sherpa/faux shearling backing. Pusheen and friends are on the front.
There were two Crinkly Plush Toys with wintery images on them. The pink one on the left is the smaller of the two, about 4″ tall, while the snow globe on the right is about 7″ tall. Each one is super soft with a crinkly piece inside.
The 3″ tall Spring Toy also has a crinkly plush toy inside! The wire will expand in size when pulled apart, and the plushie can be removed.
The Hanging Cat Teaser comes with a suction cup so it can be attached to a window or other flat surface. The pink snowflake crinkly plush toy can slide along the rope to adjust the length, while the crinkly plush Pusheen, who is wearing a darling sweater, has a blue feather to entice kitties to play.
The last items are another twofer: Two Piece Crinkle Toys. We have a tea cup, which shows Pusheen drinking what looks like hot cocoa because I know I spy some whipped cream. The other piece is tea bag, complete with tag, just like the kind that hang outside of a cup. These toys are, say it with me, plush and crinkly.
I’m so glad that the Winter 2024 Pusheen Cat Kit got here well before Christmas, there was plenty of time for subscribers to take pictures of their cats playing with these seasonal toys. My cat, Zoey, just turned 14 so she’s not much for playing nowadays and she seems comfortable in her usual spaces, but I’m going to leave the hut in a quiet corner a little longer, if she doesn’t take to it then I’m sure someone I know will take it. There was an abundance of plush, crinkly toys, but I can’t help thinking that maybe a brush or some other kind of accessory would have been welcome instead of so many similar toys. I will say that everything looked so pretty, and I especially liked Pusheen in a cable knit sweater!
