The November 2024 Vegancuts Snack Box was themed Sweater Weather Snacks. I received 11 items, including one-time use packs. Did any of them live up to the theme? Read on to see what I received!
DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription! It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.
Proceeds from this box helps support animal sanctuaries. The back of this card used to list the snacks but now it only points out the featured snacks, although there was a link on where I could see all of the listed snacks for this month.

Green Mustache Mustache Munchies Spicyish ($2.19) These crackers are about the size of Goldfish but my goodness, do they pack a punch! They have a base of tapicoa, garbanzo, and white rice flours and something that makes them taste cheesy-ish but the heat was almost too much for me, and I like spicy!

Drizzilicious Cookies & Cream Bites ($0.83) I received this snack in the May box of this year: “These are crunchy, light rice cakes that are supposed to taste like chocolate, although I don’t think that flavor was very strong, but there was a sweet candy drizzle over top.”
Four Sigmatic Calm Organic Cacao Mix ($1.19) I added four ounces of hot water to this mix and then whipped it up with a mini frother. The drink was not too sweet and had a hint of cinnamon flavor, but it didn’t taste like mushrooms or earthy even though it has reishi mushrooms as one of the ingredients. The mushrooms are supposed to help promote sleep and help relieve stress but I guess I didn’t see that on the packet and had it in the morning instead (no, I didn’t feel sleepy but then I’d only been up a couple of hours by then).
Herbal Zap Immune Support Ayurvedic Herbal Supplement ($3.54) I received a brochure containing three samples of ayurvedic Herbal Support that are supposed to help boost the immune system, detox the body after a night of excessive revelry, and soothe the digestive system. You mix up a packet with 6 ounces of hot or cold water and repeat as needed. The brochure even suggests adding Immune to black tea to turn it into chai tea, which sounds delicious to me. Each pack has a different blend of herbs and spices and is sweetened with cane sugar. I tried Digestive and it was only lightly sweetened with the taste of citrus and other herbs, but very mild otherwise.

Lenny & Larry’s Fitzels Protein Pretzels ($2.50) Here’s what I wrote about these in August of this year (and I will gift this bag since I didn’t like them the first time around): “When I buy flavored pretzels I always choose honey mustard, but these have the mustard without the honey — this one could have used the sweetness, and also it needs a boost of vinegar tang. The bag claims it has 18 grams of protein, but that’s only if you eat the whole bag, which has 3 servings and 370 calories. I rarely eat pretzels but when I do, I would prefer that they not have a gritty texture like Fitzels. I know they add pea protein but it gives these a weird texture and combined with the lack of flavor, I wouldn’t buy these for myself.”
Pea Ka Pop Veggie Crisps ($1) I’ve had another flavor of these chips at some point, but the BBQ flavor is exactly what I would expect in a snack. The chips are similar to extra crunchy yet thin rice cakes that have a good texture thanks to a base that includes lentils, peas, chickpeas, rice, and potato and they are lightly salted. Yum!

Pan’s Mushroom Jerky ($8) is another repeat. Here’s what I said in July of this year: “This was ok, but know that I’m not a fan of traditional jerky to begin with. These are dried pieces of very chewy shitake mushroom (my husband said it was tougher than traditional beef jerky) with a flavor that is supposed to be similar to BBQ, a little sweet, a little spicy. Hubby came back for more but said he wouldn’t pay $8 for this small bag. I also want you to know that like traditional jerky, it got stuck in my teeth.”

Vegan Life Instant Pancakes I’m having a hard time giving this product a value because the website says it’s $12,000 but upon further investigation that’s in Columbian pesos so it’s around $3 USD. The instructions are in Spanish so I’m going to need Google Translate to make these but it looks like the base is brown rice flour, yellow peas, and cassava and I’ve been wanting to try new gluten-free products so I look forward to making these soon!

There were a few mini packets included but I haven’t tried them yet. The first one is a sample of Rebel Green dish soap (obviously not for eating of course), then there were two Truff one-time use packs of hot sauce (Taco Bell packet-sized for comparison), and a Wellah drink mix with caffeine added.

Misfits Cookie Butter ($2.33) I feel like I’ve tried this brand before but didn’t like it, but this is a “new & softer” version and I kinda liked it. It says it’s “cookie butter” flavor but it doesn’t taste like the stuff from Trader Joe’s. It has a base of pea protein isolate and soy protein isolate but it doesn’t taste like or have the chalky texture of the usual protein bars, it’s very chewy and fudgy caramelicious inside. The outside has crunchie chocolate cookie pieces and the bar is sweetened with maltitol, so I’m sure to have GI issues tonight but if that’s not a problem for you then this makes a tasty replacement for maybe a Milky Way bar.
The November 2024 Vegancuts Snack Box had what I have come to expect from this subscription, a few new-to-me items mixed with offerings from past boxes. Nothing was expired, however, nothing jumped out at me for being new or fun. Did any items seem like they paired well with sweater weather? I cannot deny it, the Herbal Zap packs and the Four Sigmatic Calm Cacao Mix pack were giving fall feels, I love a hot drink on a cold day! I also enjoyed the Peaka Pop BBQ Chips, they were certainly tasty. I feel like the box was missing that WOW item though, and there were several repeats from recent months. I look foward to seeing what comes next month, and I must say I like being able to try before I buy without having to pay for huge bags of snacks I might not like.

Vegancuts Snack Box is a monthly vegan food subscription that delivers 10 or more organic and vegan treats each month. Snacks can include a pantry item or drink and most snacks are gluten-free. Each subscription box costs $24.95 monthly, or save a bit with a longer pre-paid term.

I subscribed on their website where they promptly took payment. The site also indicated shipments would start on the 15th. I contacted their customer support about my shipment on the 16th, 17th and 18th… on the 18th I received a one-sentence from Awais Ali that they ship out on the 18th instead. I reached back out on the 19th and the 20th and have yet to get a reply. This hole in the wall company seemed to offer a lot which is why I subscribed. However the customer support is horrible. Clearly this is a company only focused on getting money from first time buyers and not maintaining subscribers. I’ve put in a dispute with my bank and am now trying to cancel my subscription. The website has no option to cancel the subscription so now i must rely on the lazy customer service to confirm my cancellation.
Yikes, I hope your bank was able to help you out Tiffany.
