The May 2024 Vegancuts Beauty Box theme was Radiant Revival and I received four products, including fluoride-free tooth tablets and a hand lotion. Each month you can expect to receive vegan and cruelty-free products (and Vegancuts offers a snack box too)! See what I received in this month’s box below!
Please note that this box didn’t get to my mailbox until June.
DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription! It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.
Owl in a Towel Hand Cream ($12) Please note that this is a bonus item, and there were two other items subscribers may have received instead (a cleanser or eye serum). This hand cream is packed into a tube made of sugarcane! The cream itself is made with shea butter, glycerin, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and more and is scented with balsam fir extract, which gives it foresty sort of scent. It left my hands soft and yet they weren’t greasy, but there is a little bit of an off scent, like maybe the coconut oil is about to go rancid, or maybe that’s how it’s supposed to smell? It definitely smells like trees just before that though.
Dr. Eve_Ryouth Limited Edition Vitamin C Anti-Ageing Night Moisturizer (About $76 USD) I want to start by saying that the ingredients listed on the package (which should be correct) and the ingredients listed on the brand’s website are different. The second ingredient listed on the package is paraffinum liquidum, which is a fancy way to say mineral oil, the kind that comes from petroleum, just letting you know (and I’m not against using that ingredient myself). Anyways, the website didn’t have much info on this product but it seems to be a night-time moisturizer based on the name. It may help lighten dark spots and didn’t feel greasy. It smells like citrus thanks to added parfum.
Mintly Toothpaste Tablets ($9) If you are into fluoride-free products for your teeth then this seems like a convenient product to use when traveling. You place a tablet in your mouth, chew it up a little bit, then brush for 2 minutes before spitting it out and rinsing. The flavor was ok, there was a bit of an aftertaste, and it doesn’t foam up like traditional toothpaste.
Kirk’s Gentle Castile Soap ($2.19 for 4 ounce bar, 62 cent value) We occasionally receive these small bars of soap that are slightly bigger than what you might find in a hotel room. This one has a fresh and clean scent and will go next to my kitchen sink, it would be gone in less than a week in the shower.

Vegancuts Beauty Box tends to send some of the same brands each month, but I was surprised to find we had two new-to-me brands for June! I think they send products that are fine for everyday use, nothing super exciting, just basics like toothpaste and soap. I think the value of the face cream was inflated for what it is, but most of these products will probably last about a month, with the exception of the bar of soap. Of course your bonus item may vary, but I’m pretty happy to have received hand lotion. Let me know if you received something else!

Vegancuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 4 or more items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free and vegan, plus most items are natural and non-toxic! Monthly recurring shipments are $24.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.
