Citrus Burst Essential Oil Blend ($12.99) I have a passive diffuser on my desk and every time I sit at the computer I put a drop of something uplifting on the disk and this one smelled super fresh and kind of yummy. It’s a blend of grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, and bergamot and is perfect for a cleaning-themed box.

Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil ($13.99) is supposed to detoxify and help balance cravings. It smells like fresh grapefruit zest.

Oregano Essential Oil ($14.99) I often reach for this herb in the kitchen while cooking, but it also helps clean the kitchen when I’m finished preparing meals! It smells just like the dried herb and may help digestion and support heart health.

Tea Tree Essential Oil ($12.99) Tea tree oil is a must in the herbal medicine cabinet, it can help relieve acne and minor skin irritations. It smells medicinal and is a classic for a reason.

Scrubbing Sponge, Multi-Purpose Cleaning Tablets, and Cleaning Bombs are the extras for this month and are available on the Simply Earth website in case you want to purchase extras.

This sheet of stickers is pre-scored so I can quickly label my finished products.

Each month we receive six new recipes to add to our collection.

Some of the recipes continue on the back of the card, while others have important info about the subscription.

Below are some of the projects I completed using this month’s recipes and extras!

I love to make the roll-on recipes, they are super simple to put together. Just place the essential oil drops in a rollerball container (found in the Big Bonus Box), top with coconut oil (also from the BBB), and then place the rollerball on top. I liked this blend, but then I’m always a fan of citrus scents.

I also placed the oils in my diffuser following the recipe card instructions. This is my favorite way to use essential oils, just plug and go!

I have supplies to complete the other recipes, although I don’t have the required container for the spray, and I don’t think anyone wants a picture of the toilet refresher in use. I will complete the other recipes later in the summer when I have more time!

The April Simply Earth Cleaning Box offered alternatives to conventional cleaning products. The recipes are easy to follow but you can watch instructional videos of each recipe on the Simply Earth YouTube channel, they are informative. It’s pretty easy to drop a tablet and essential oils in my toilet for a quick clean, although the card gave an alternative instruction for a garbage disposal cleaner. I am looking forward to making the Citrus Cleaning Spray, but I keep forgetting to pick up a spray container at the store. Simply Earth makes it easy to use essential oils, and they even offer a course to subscribers so you can learn as much as you want about the world of essential oils!
