This June, we’re cheering on our LGBTQ+ community in an all-out celebration of pride and joy. His sources of inspiration included fashion and art, but he also took inspiration from unexpected places, like music, pop culture, and even cartoons from the ‘90s. Ian explains: “The colors are bright and electric, and the textures are inspired by sports apparel. We have a puffy mesh material reminiscent of basketball shorts and activewear, and I added some faux leather to give it a fashion kick. I also created a 3D extruded ‘LOVE’ charm on the zipper pull. Cartoons from the ‘90s inspired me to create a cool and unique pull tab.”
Not only does Ian’s original bright, colorblocked design leave us feeling full of pride, but thanks to the breathable mesh material, we’ll also be using this Glam Bag to stash our necessities for the beach, festivals, and outdoor adventures to feel that pride 365 days a year.
