BE KIND by Ellen Box is all about bringing joy and positive impact to your doorstep. For Spring 2023, they are celebrating spring while also helping us make the most of this season through a carefully curated selection of products from brands that prioritize sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby, try out tasty treats, or discover new sustainable brands, this box has something for everyone – learn more in our review below!

Since spring is finally here, it’s time to get started with some gardening fun! Included in the box are the “You Dig It” Gardening Trowel and My Little Belleville Gardening Gloves ($23) to make our home gardening experience even more enjoyable. The trowel is designed to help us plant, dig, and cultivate with ease – definitely a must-have tool whether for experienced or newbie gardeners. As for the gloves, subscribers can look forward to receiving one of two beautiful designs – either the cute Honey Bee or the charming Lavender. I was delighted to receive the Lavender gloves, which are not only lovely to look at but also exceptionally comfortable to wear.

Of course, our spring gardening adventure won’t be complete without the seeds we’re planting! The American Meadows Meadowscaping Seed Starter Kit is composed of 5 pure wildflower seed packets, including sunflower seeds, pollinator wildflower seed mix, purple coneflower, monarch butterfly seed mix, and zinnia seed mix. Also included is a planting guide, and according to it, we can use the seeds for making a mini meadow or a patchwork corner. They can also be planted on containers in case you don’t have a lot of space!

Gurunanda Concentrated Mouthwash ($15.49) is an all-natural mouthwash designed to deliver a powerful and effective formula that neutralizes bad breath and promotes optimal oral health. Formulated with a blend of essential oils, including peppermint, clove, and tea tree, this concentrated mouthwash helps kill germs and bacteria that cause bad breath, gum disease, and tooth decay. Unlike other mouthwashes that contain alcohol, this one is alcohol-free and gentle on the mouth, making it a great choice for people with sensitive teeth or gums. This brand is also committed to reducing excessive waste. In fact, one bottle of this mouthwash can last up to 300 uses, therefore minimizing the amount of packaging needed.

If you struggle to maintain salon-perfect hair between appointments, you’d love Style Edit Root Touch-up Powder ($35.99). Subscribers will receive it in 1 of 5 shades, and I received mine in dark brown which matched my hair perfectly. I was impressed by how easy it was to apply. The powder formula made it easy to blend into my roots, and it provided natural-looking coverage that lasted all day. It’s also good to know that the product is vegan and ethically sourced!

Beekeeper’s Naturals Superfood Honey ($16.99) is a raw, enzymatic honey that has been thoughtfully infused with royal jelly, bee pollen, and propolis to provide a variety of health benefits. This honey is not your average sweetener! It’s packed with essential nutrients and natural compounds that work together to improve energy levels, boost your immune system and enhance cognitive function. It arrived with its own wooden honey dipper for mess-free serving. Whether you enjoy it by the spoonful or drizzle it over your favorite foods, this honey is a delicious and healthy way to indulge your sweet tooth. Another thing that makes this honey stand out is its commitment to supporting pollinator protection. It’s not only good for you but also for the environment and the bees that make the sweet treat possible.

For a wholesome snack, they also included Bob’s Bars from Bob’s Red Mill and subscribers will receive it in either Peanut Butter Chocolate or Peanut Butter Jelly flavor. I received the former, which combines the luscious flavor of chocolate with the goodness of whole grain oats, hearty peanut butter, and organic honey. The result is a tasty and satisfying snack that’s perfect for a midday pick-me-up, post-workout snack, or anytime you need a quick and easy source of energy!

From the Diamond Art Club, here’s a custom Be Kind Diamond Painting Kit! It includes everything you need to create a stunning piece of artwork using sparkly, multi-faceted diamonds, plus a step-by-step guide on how to use the kit. The company that makes these creative kits ensures that the artworks they use are properly licensed, helping empower artists around the world!

My daughter tried out diamond painting and loved the result. This finished product can also be framed and hung on a wall if you want a pop of color in your room or if you need a daily reminder to be kind!

That’s a wrap on the BE KIND by Ellen Spring 2023 box! This season’s curated collection of socially conscious products and brands is both enjoyable and meaningful. The gardening trio composed of the trowel, gloves, and seed starter kit will keep any gardening enthusiast busy this spring, while the diamond painting kit introduced us to a creative and relaxing activity that we can enjoy beyond the season. To fuel us up for our spring activities, they even provided a pack of peanut butter and chocolate snack bars and a jar of honey! Not only are these products fun and exciting, they’re also doing some serious good in the world, from supporting ethical sourcing and pollinator protection to empowering artists around the world and more!
