We have spoilers for the curator and featured brand for the Ipsy Icon Box May 2023 edition! It’s Anastasia Soare of Anastasia Beverly Hills!

As we celebrate the launch of our first-ever Icon Box, it seems only fitting that the inaugural curator is an absolute icon herself. Our obsession with brows started with Anastasia Soare, the industry trailblazer who taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to beauty. Now the founder of ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS is bringing her legacy of hard work and breakthrough techniques to her curated Icon Box experience with products not just from her own brand, but also other beauty favorites she knows you will love. With her collection, Anastasia is showing us how to define our brows—and our individual glam!—all on our own terms. Join us as we brow down to a true beauty icon.

Introducing Icon Box by Anastasia Beverly Hills

Elevated artistry and commitment to workmanship are what make Anastasia Beverly Hills so iconic. “This year has been full of milestones, including the 25th anniversary of ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS and now this Icon Box collection,” says Soare. “As I look back at the past two-and-a-half decades—the highlights, the struggles, the pinch-me moments—I feel incredibly proud of what I’ve accomplished, and my Icon Box serves as a celebration of those achievements.”

Along with her daughter Claudia, Anastasia has built a family empire on finding opportunity and fearlessly pursuing her vision. Passion runs in the DNA of these two makeup moguls, and this Icon Box curation is a private invitation to experience Anastasia and Claudia’s most-trusted products and brands.

“From day one, it’s been my goal to bring high-performing products and tips to everyone,” says Soare. “The foundation of ABH is rooted in balance and proportion. One eyebrow and one look does not fit all. By expressing your unique beauty, you will outlast any trend, I promise.”

Ipsy’s Icon Box is $58 per shipment + $1.99 handing fee, and is a limited edition upgrade to Ipsy Glam Bag and BoxyCharm by IPSY. Icon Box will have 8 full-size products each quarter (up to $350 for Icon Box x Anastasia Beverly Hills).

So it’s supposed to be new and improved but up pops the Earth Harbor Glow Juice – yet again. Earth Harbor is one of those overused brands that Ipsy just needs to back off of for awhile, in my opinion. But at least not put it in the Icon box. I was hoping Ipsy wouldn’t repeat so much since they claim to have turned over a new leaf.

IDK if this matters to anyone other than me, but ABH makeup is usually, not always, made in China. I personally think that’s getting to be an iffy source for Americans to use.

Same can be said for Tarte, Urban Decay, It Cosmetics, Sephora, and many other high end brands. Lip gloss and pressed powder products such as blush and eye shadows tend to be Chinese made. Pencils are mainly European made. As long as they’re made ethically, not from slave labor or something like that, I’m okay with it.

Yes, it definitely matters. We should try to avoid purchasing any products made in China, not just cosmetics. It is important that the U.S.A. moves toward returning its production here.

Ha, good luck to you on that one.

My household is not purchasing anything made in China.

I love AHB Brow Definer. It is the product I reach for most out of my brow products. The formula is perfect.

So the products you showed before were not actual spoilers or?

The Patrick Ta, Lys, Pat Mcgrath, and Pinrose are repeat products. Not impressed!

It was previously posted as “Curator and Brand Spoiler,” which included hints about ABH. The photo was a sample of what typically comes with the bag/box since Ipsy hasn’t release a bag/box reveal then.
