Bloomeffects was created by Kim Van Haaster in 2019 to harness the potency of the flavanoid-rich tulips into beautiful, luxuriously effective skincare. The tulips come from her husband’s family farm (he is a fourth-generation tulip farmer in the Netherlands).
Field to Face skincare! After the tulip bulbs are harvested, the stem cells are extracted, which forms the basis of the Bloomeffects Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex. The complex is rich in antioxidants and natural moisturizing factors. Kim also has very sensitive skin, which informs the formulation of each of her products.

Bloomeffects Tulip Dew Cream
This third product is a light yet luscious potion that is a wonderfully hydrating day cream and/or primer! And we have included a handy travel size of it for you in the April Beauty Box! 🌷
The Tulip Dew cream has a lightweight gel-cream texture and makes such a great pairing with the Black Tulip Facial treatment: an exquisite day & night duo! 💜 Along with the Dutch Tulip Complex that comes from the Tulip petals grown on their 117-year-old farm in The Netherlands, the Tulip Dew cream also contains a multivitamin complex of Vitamins B3 (Niacinamide), Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Vitamins C and E to rejuvenate the skin and protect it against environmental stressors. It also contains Carrot seed oil, Carrot root extract, as well as a 3% Pumpkin seed extract that helps improve the skin’s smoothness, elasticity, and firmness. Tulip Dew also creates the loveliest base for makeup! 😍
Bloomeffects Tulip Jelly
I have been WAITING for the release of the second product in the April Beauty Box. And I’m pretty excited to be showcasing it this Spring. Turn up the volume for a peek at the second product in the box! 😍🌷
Bloomeffects’ Tulip Jelly cleanser was one of their first products to catch my attention when they first launched the brand. I was so intrigued & curious, and when I tried it, it didn’t disappoint!! It was such a luscious, unique cleanser, and an absolute pleasure to use. However, it had an ingredient that I personally don’t use (no judgement there)- but I was told that there was a vegan version in the works without that ingredient and I had been WAITING for that to launch so I can showcase its beauty to you!
And now I’m doing a little happy dance because that time has come! 💃🏽I used it this morning and was again blown away- the Jelly melts into a balm, then oil, as you massage and then turns to milk and rinses off with water. And my skin feels so glowy, plump and happy after (I’ve said before that I am kind of obsessed with cleansers and how it can make or break my routine and I can’t wait to tell you more about how to rotate cleansers to get the most out of your skincare routine). Since this can be used to remove makeup & sunscreen it works both as a night and day cleanser!
This cleansing jelly contains the Bloomeffects Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex (but of course!) which is rich in antioxidants, natural moisturizing factors, and amino acids for softer, smoother and glowingly hydrated skin. It also contains Sour Cherry oil & Strawberry seed oil, Red Algae extract and more!

Bloomeffects Black Tulip Facial Treatment
The first product in the box is a multi-tasking creamy facial treatment, soothing & nourishing enough for sensitive skin and light enough for Spring! It features the proprietary Black Tulip Complex that contains upcycled Black Tulip Petals that have the highest flavonoid count of all tulips, making it a very potent antioxidant that protects against free radical damage. In addition it contains Squalane, Niacinamide, Peptides and Saponaria Pumila and Orchid Stem Cells that together seal in moisture, plump skim and smooth fine lines & wrinkles, restoring & rejuvenating the skin.
