Relevee Lash Curler ($36) I am someone who is not coordinated enough to use an eyelash curler, but I am determined to master this skill in 2023! The Relevee lash curler is a sleek and sturdy black style and comes with a replacement pad.
Shashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette ($29) I LOVE Smashbox! They are cruelty-free, pretty affordable, and have great products. This palette is absolutely stunning. I especially love that taupe colour second from the right – I have been looking for a good taupe and it’s gorgeous!

Loreal Glowing Lip Gloss ($9.99) Shell We Dance is a pretty coral shade. Loreal is not cruelty-free so this will be gifted.
Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow ($7.99) Almay’s long-wear cream eyeshadow is available in metallic shades and lasts all day long! Almay is not cruelty-free so I won’t be keeping this for myself, but cream shadows can be great for an all-over look!
Laura Mercier Rouge Essential Silky Creme Lipstick ($34) Laura Mercier has a soft spot in my heart because the first “high-end” makeup product I bought when I started my first “big girl” corporate job was an LM lipgloss. This is their lipstick in Beige Intime which is a nice neutral brown. Unfortunately, LM is not cruelty-free so I don’t use this brand anymore, but I did swatch this lipstick as I absolutely love the colour.

This year we started off with a nice selection of items from Laura Mercier, Smashbox, and more – and some drugstore brands and a beauty tool to complement the selection. I’m looking forward to seeing what CBB has in store for the rest of the year.
