The December Vegancuts Beauty Box theme was Flawless, Festive, and Fresh and there were 5 items inside to help polish my lips, clean my hair, and soften my skin. Vegancuts sends vegan and cruelty-free products and they offer a snack box too! See what I received in this month’s box below!

DEAL: Use the coupon code hellosub to get $5 off your first box on any Vegancuts subscription!   It can only be used once per customer, but it can be used on multiple subscriptions at once so long as they are in the same transaction.

The beauty box ships with the snack box but my beauty items were placed in a linen bag.

Moon River Naturals Night Cap ($36) This non-greasy cream is supposed to repair skin overnight, after it’s been exposed to all the environmental stressors throughout the day. Some of the ingredients in here are aloe, rose water, glycerin, papaya, and pineapple. It also has some essential oils for scent, and it smells somewhat apothecarial. It leaves a balm-like coating on the skin and I look forward to using it on the coldest nights.

Herbanology Super Lemon Haze All Purpose Soap ($5.95) This is a liquid castile soap that is made with coconut and sunflower oils and that is scented with plant terpenes. This brand aimed to “capture the essence of cannabis flowers and arouse curiosity in the benefits of plant terpenes”. There’s no CBD in this product. It was rather watery and I accidentally poured about half the container on my shower sponge. It lathered really well but like all castile soaps that I’ve tried in the past, it left me feeling like I had a coating on my skin after rinsing. I have no idea what cannabis flowers smell like but this product doesn’t smell like lemon, and kind of smells like dirt, but not in a patchouli kind of way. I didn’t find it to be pleasant.

Authentic Beauty Concept Hydrate Cleanser We received a replenishing conditioner from this brand last month. This shampoo is from their hydrating line. I’m afraid to use it due to my super sensitive scalp but it sure smells nice, like a tropical fruit salad. It’s supposed to replenish dry strands and make hair bouncy.

Radiate Facial Moisturizing Oil ($32) I sure do like a luxurious facial oil and this one is certainly in that category. It has several different oils inside, such as tamanu (calming), jojoba (fast absorbing), and hemp seed (soothing). It also has essential oils, some of which may be potentially irritating, its only downfall. It smells mainly of orange and geranium and is very oily but in a good way, at least when you have rather dry skin like mine.

Dirty Lamb Sugar Cookie Lip Rockz ($24.99) If you have sugar, some sort of cooking oil, and vanilla then you already have the ingredients to (inexpensively) make your own lip scrub. Of course, you could also buy something like this, which is already mixed up and ready to go. I would caution against using it on peeling lips but otherwise, go ahead and take a small amount, rub it over lips, and then wipe it off. I didn’t notice any lingering oiliness, you may have to apply lip balm afterwards, but it smells and feels nice on the lips.

Once again there was a wonderful assortment of products in my Vegancuts Beauty Box! The luxurious face oil was my favorite of the items, it smelled really nice and felt wonderful when I applied it to my face. I also liked the lip scrub and the face cream. I wasn’t a fan of the scent of the body wash and I am sadly avoiding parfum on my scalp so I didn’t get to try the shampoo but they are still solid items for a vegan beauty box. The value for this box was around over $100!
