My box was different then these items. How come?

They don’t send what is shown. I received 4 of promised items, Drunk elephant, Laura Mercier, Star Jelly, Ren cleansing milk. Then I was told to choose from items that we no better than my Glam Plus. I received 5sens perfume, Watermelon glow (repeat), Fenty lip balm $20 no color (repeat), and yet another highlighter $24 Face.
glaze. I feel its bait and switch.

    Amen my friend 👏👏

  • Kay

I am in my mid 30s and have followed her since my 20s. I don’t think her content is geared to teens at all.

  • Sonia
    01.17.23

I’m gonna pass this one. None of these items are excited and interest me at all. I am not getting it because of someone is a Youtuber, that sounds childish. For me, if there isn’t more than 4 or 5 products I want, I am not gonna buy.

      01.19.23

You do realize that GBX is curated by someone influential in the beauty world, and that includes social media influencers.

        01.25.23

You do realize that you did not comprehend what I just wrote in my comment. I don’t care for it therefore I am not buying it because of a YouTuber. It doesn’t influence me to buy it nor do I care for this person. The products shown isn’t special at all and it’s a waste of money in my opinion. I rather buy from a makeup artist like Pat McGrath or someone who are actual artist as a profession and not someone online who just does beauty for views.

I agree. Several of these products are re-treads and frequent flyers for Ipsy, and most them don’t seem very special. I prefer it when they have a curator who actually is associated with their own line.

I love Bailey! Resubscribed just to get this box!

Not into face sculpting, but it looks good!

    Got me to resub 🙃

  • Brandi
    01.11.23

I thought this was a makeup subscription. If ipsy has become a box of their blanket companies, hair crap and skin care, I may not be with them much longer.

    • Amber
      01.11.23

Ipsy has always been a mix of makeup, skincare, and hair care products.

      • KayKay
        01.20.23

I think what Brandi might be saying is that we are seeing the same products from the same old companies that are affiliated with Ipsy.

Wow! First time seeing Scott Barnes in a sub box. I am almost tempted on this one.

The one product shown that you didn’t list is the face oil, Femmue Ideal Oil.

  • Michelle

Looks good! I’ll be upgrading for February!

Ok. I did have to Google her but I know who she is or I know her face because I used to watch her murder make up shows that would come on my feed on Facebook. I never watched her channel on YouTube but I should because I loved it playing on Facebook. And now that I think of it, what the heck is wrong with me. I hated when the show bleeped out on Facebook and it probably isn’t on my signed in YouTube account lol. Anyway I got Feb glam bag x because Feb is my birthday month so I wanted to spoil myself. The last Glam X I had was Alicia keys. Which I loved only because my Ipsy is usually 80 percent skin care But I digress. I’m glad it’s someone I know at least. I hope my Rampling was of interest to someone. I just got off work as an ER nurse. Goodnight!

YouTuber…and I’m in my 50’s 😆. This is one of the few I have recognized in the past year though, so I get where you’re coming from.

I know her too and I’m in my mid thirties. This is because I like her murder stories.

Am I the only one who needed to google her? It makes me think ipsy’s target clientele is teenage girls.

    • Jessica C
      01.08.23

Nooo you are not the only one.

      So disappointing

I’m in my 40s and I know who she is and have for several years.

      • Melissa
        01.14.23

Same, AC. Well, actually, I’m 51.

    • Alice
      01.12.23

I wasn’t even interested enough TO Google her. Still don’t care, lol.

    • Melissa
      01.14.23

In what way is Bailey targeted to teenage girls? Odd comment.

      • Anja
        01.14.23

Exactly , she tells stories about serial killers and murders i think its meant for adults . she has followers of all age groups .

    • Ashley
      01.16.23

dia – False. She’s really fun and funny. You are missing out if you don’t know her. I’m 40 btw.

      01.19.23

Take a deep breath, people. No need to hurl insults just because you’re a fan of someone I don’t know. Pretty sure I like a few things you don’t, too.

    • Tolin
      01.19.23

Another 40-something Bailey fan here. Funny, when I saw she was the curator I was excited that they picked a YouTuber with a somewhat older (or at least broader) audience than the typical teen demographic.
