What welcomed me upon opening the add-on box is an art print and a set of postcards. As usual, the art print is two-sided. Depending on your preferences, you can decide which to display. One side features a Merry Christmas greeting with minimal design in portrait orientation, while the flip side is aesthetically festive with a big pile of gift boxes illustrated on it in landscape orientation. It can be framed and displayed on a wall, shelf, or tabletop!
The postcards, on the other hand, came with the North Pole mailbox (see below). There were three postcards included, each measuring 4″ x 6″ and with ample space to write messages in. With Dear Santa printed on top and a cute air mail stamp on the side, your naughty-or-nice little munchkins can write their Christmas greetings and wishes in it!
Here is a snap of the mailbox. I’m thrilled about this particular home decor because it looks simple but it still gives off holiday vibes! It’s quite huge, and it came with hook holes on the back, making it easy to hang this piece if you like. There’s a hinged lid with a card slot on top where kids can slide their cards through. I also love the embossed design upfront that says North Pole Express Mail with a large snowflake in the middle! It’s white, and I like that it works great with other Christmas decorations at home. You can place it on the table, beside the Christmas tree, on any countertop, over the mantle, or wherever you want to, and it would look nice! It’s my favorite holiday decor so far.
Here’s a set of 3 wood ornaments that gives me farmstead vibes with the wood material and jute twine! Each is shaped like a stamp, and they’re so cute! There’s one with a reindeer, another with a Christmas tree and a star, and the last piece with a candy cane. Although these ornaments are quite big, they’re not heavy, which is a good thing as they don’t weigh down our Christmas tree. Decocrated even suggests using them as a gift tag alternatively!
This red woven throw pillow will fit any festive home aesthetic! The front part is woven in red and white yarns, while the back is plain red in a velvety-like material. It has a zip closure that makes it easy to insert the pillow. The pompoms on each corner made it so cute as well. With its size and color, it can make a great accent on the couch or your bed. This pillowcase is perfect for the holidays but can be used in other seasons as well. It would look great for your Valentine’s Day-inspired decor because the front part looks like tiny hearts!
For the final touch, here’s a framed metal art, showcasing a simple Christmas design that reads: “Old Fashioned Sleigh Rides”. It has a minimalist feel to it with a mix of farmstead vibes due to its natural finish wooden frame. The backing is made of thin metal. You can put it on a wall or on top the mantle along with other Christmas decor you have!
Everything in the Christmas 2022 Add-On Box is so pretty, I can’t stop admiring each one. It’s like “mail all your wishes to Santa” themed! The mailbox and postcard set is unique and beautiful – both kids and kids-at-heart can have fun making and dropping some letters using them. The ornaments are amazing, plus the woven pillowcase easily stands out wherever you put it. The framed metal art is a lovely addition to the box as well. It was fun decorating our home for the holidays, and these items worked great with our existing Christmas pieces! Decocrated definitely added extra holiday spirit to our home!
