Where and how does Blueland ship?

Blueland is available and ready to ship to the United States, including Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, they don’t ship to Hawaii and Alaska. But if you live there and want to purchase Blueland’s cleaning essentials, you can do so through Amazon. They currently also don’t ship to APO/FPO. To make the world a cleaner and greener place, they also process orders and ships to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

They typically ship orders within 2-3 business days but may take a little longer for busy seasons like holidays. For US orders, shipments may arrive at the customer’s doors between 7-10 days, depending on the exact location.

And since international shipping has to go through customs and local carrier delivery processing, it may take about 10-17 business days to Canada and the UK, 16-19 business days to Australia, and about 19-21 business days to New Zealand. How is Blueland packaged?

In line with their efforts to reduce waste, all Blueland products come packaged in recyclable or compostable packaging. They’re neatly and securely arranged inside a mailer box with Blueland branding. Some items are even wrapped in honeycomb mesh, a better alternative for bubble wraps to keep the products safe while en route.

To protect the items more and avoid them from rattling or moving around the box, they’re cushioned and partitioned with cardboard. The Forever cleaning spray bottles are made of Tritan (a BPA-free material), while the Forever hand soap bottles are made of glass. Their Forever dish soap shaker is made of silicone, and the Forever body wash bottle & Forever facial cleanser bottle are made of LDPE. The tins, on the other hand, are made of tin-coated steel.

The Forever bottles will be shipped in recyclable cardboard, nestled in custom box inserts. Meanwhile, the refill tablet packs are wrapped in compostable packaging and shipped in paper-padded mailers made from 77% recycled fibers. All boxes and packaging are curbside recyclable, while tablet wrappers can be composted. For any damaged bottles, you can send them back to them, and they’ll do the recycling on your behalf.

My Blueland Review

Blueland is an eco-friendly brand that offers cleaning products without single-use plastic packaging. Their non-toxic products are formulated without water, and they make it a point to minimize the carbon footprint generated when shipping these products from their warehouse to your home. Every first kit will include reusable bottles, so you will only have to buy the bottle once and never have to throw them away!

Blueland ensures that its products are safe by using only non-toxic ingredients. Their products have also received Platinum certification from Cradle to Cradle, and they also avoid any ingredients on the Environmental Working Group restricted list. They only use ingredients on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

Blueland Dish Duo

This is the review of Blueland Dish Duo. Your first kit ($38) will include 1 reusable silicone shaker and 16 oz powder dish soap and 1 reusable steel tin and 40 dishwasher tablets.

Reusable Steel Tin + 40 Tablets. Blueland’s dishwasher tablets don’t just get rid of grease and grime, they also help lessen plastic waste as they don’t contain the PVA/PVOH film used by traditional pacs! These tablets are even certified USDA BioPreferred and Leaping Bunny (cruelty-free) certified.

The brown paper pouch contains 40 tablets. It’s also compostable! The tablets contain Sorbitan Caprylate, which breaks down stains and grime, plus Sodium Carbonate, which is a mineral-based cleaner. Other ingredients for the dishwashing tablets are Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Sodium Silicate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Carboxymethyl Inulin, Subtilisin, Lauryl/Myristyl Glucoside, Amylase, Hydrated Silica. Another thing to love about these eco-friendly dishwasher tablets is that they’re free from parabens, phthalates, VOCs, triclosan, artificial dyes, and artificial fragrances.

Here’s what the tablets look like upon opening the pouch. Again, no plastic here! To use, just place one dishwasher tablet into the dish soap compartment once your dishwasher is loaded. Then, close the compartment & dishwasher door, and select your preferred wash cycle! The tablets are small and have no scent, but they’re good at cleaning the dishes. They remove grease and grime without problems. I love how they leave my dishes sparkly clean and that they are so easy to use!

Here’s a look at the refillable container. It’s a tub that you can easily open and close, making it convenient for use even when you’re in a hurry. It is great for people that have trouble using their hands or hard-to-open containers. I love this tin! Just transfer the tablets to this tin and refill when your next package arrives. The tin itself looks nice – it’s aesthetically pleasing and fits my shelf!

Reusable Silicone Shaker + 16 oz Powder Dish Soap. Here’s another Blueland product to ensure our dishes are spotless while still protecting the environment! The powder dish soap comes with a silicone container, which is really useful when handwashing.

Just like the tin container, this reusable shaker is also aesthetically pleasing. It’s such an eco-friendly alternative to regular liquid dish soap in single-use bottles. The lid pops off, so you can put the product in easily! There is a Blueland branding at the top of the lid, just beside the spout where you can dispense the product from. Just give it a squeeze, and it puffs out!

Since the powder contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, it can remove grime without lots of foam. Caprylyl Glucoside and Lauryl Glucoside also help break down stains and grime! Other ingredients for the dish powder are Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Methyl Oleyl Taurate, and Hydrated Silica. The dishwashing powder was packed in compostable brown paper pouch packaging. The powder itself is made without triclosan, parabens, phosphates, ammonia, VOCs, petroleum, phthalates, artificial dyes, or fragrances. It’s also Certified USDA BioPreferred and Leaping Bunny certified.

Transferring the powder to the shaker is a breeze. Just cut the pouch on the designated line and then pour it in! Each pouch contains just the right amount of powder to fill the whole container, so you don’t have to worry about having excess and having to keep the pouch. Now, we just need to screw the cap back on, and we’re ready to use it!

The powder is fine so it dissolves easily with water, and I find that it’s really good with dishes because it really cuts through grease! It also doesn’t have any scent. The powder works on glassware or cookware, including glass, porcelain/ceramic, plastic, or steel.

The box also includes a card from Blueland. It instructs us to keep the insert with our forever tin, and it also informs us that they included 2 extra tables for free in the refill pack! Another card introduces us to Blueland’s cleaning tablet. At the back, there are simple instructions on how to use the product. First, you just have to use warm or hot water to fill your Forever Bottle to the line, then drop in one tablet and wait for it to dissolve. The final step is to put on the lid and get cleaning!

The Blueland Dish Duo helped me a lot with my dishwashing woes, and I love them! Both the powder and the tablet are easy to use. The powder works for dishes and other kitchen items that need hand washing, while the tablet just needs to be loaded into the dishwasher, and it’s all good. Also, they clean well without leaving behind any grease or sticky film!

Blueland Naked Laundry Tablet

This is the review of Blueland Naked Laundry Tablets! You can grab the Blueland Naked Laundry Tablets in the Laundry Starter Set ($25). This set includes 40 Fragrance-Free Laundry Tablets and a Reusable Steel Tin. 

Here’s everything in my box!

Laundry Tablets. There are 40 laundry tablets in this eco-friendly and compostable paper packaging! It contains naturally derived Pectate Lyase that removes stains from fibers and Mannanase that helps break down sticky stains. Other ingredients for the laundry tablets are Sodium Carbonate, Citric Acid, Subtilisin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Alcohols, C12-14, Ethoxylated, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Amylase, Lauryl/Myristyl Glucoside, Hydrated Silica, and Cellulase.

The tablets inside are totally naked, which means there isn’t even a thin sheet of plastic that covers them. Therefore, there will be no waste that might cause harm to the environment!

Blueland laundry tablets are bio-based, fragrance-free, dye-free, and plastic-free! To use, just put one tablet directly into the drum before adding clothes. Blueland laundry tablets are free from triclosan, parabens, phosphates, chlorine bleach, MEAs, DEAs, TEAs, SLES, petroleum, artificial dyes, or fragrances. These tablets are even USDA BioPreferred, Leaping Bunny (cruelty-free) certified and recognized by Cradle to Cradle as Certified Platinum in Material Health.

Here’s the reusable tin can that comes in the first kit! It’s aesthetically pleasing and will look good on any countertop. It has the label “Laundry Detergent Tablets” right in front, so it’s easy to know what’s inside. The lid has the Blueland branding on the top. It can easily pop on and off, making it convenient for us to get the tablet when we need it. I think this is great because it’s super easy to open and doesn’t require fumbling or wrestling. Just transfer the naked tablets inside the tin and keep them in a cool, dry place. Then, refill when your next package arrives!

This product lives up to its promise as it cleans our clothes well and doesn’t leave any residue. They can be used on various fabric types, like cotton, linen, denim, polyester, rayon, acetate, and tencel. They also work whether with high-efficiency washers or standard washing machines.

These naked laundry tablets are totally plastic-free! It’s a great alternative to regular laundry pacs or laundry detergents because it helps lessen plastic waste that could harm the environment. Also, these tablets are gentle on fabrics but tough on stains. They have no scent, but they are great for removing sweat and dirt from clothes, keeping our laundry fresh and clean each and every time!

Blueland The Clean Essentials Kit

This is the review of The Clean Essentials Kit ($39). It includes foaming hand soap, multi-surface cleaner, bathroom cleaner, and glass + mirror cleaner. All these come with reusable bottles and 1 tablet each.

I’m pretty excited to try them all!

The kit came with 4 different tablets. The tablets are intended to make cleaning solutions with specific uses: Glass + Mirror, Multi-Surface, Bathroom, and Foaming Hand Soap. Each tablet is packed in compostable paper. Pictured above is what the tablet looks like. For each purpose, just like the bottles and packets, the shape and color vary so it’s easier to spot which is which.

These bottles are so pretty! They are called Forever Bottles because they can be reused forever! The bottles for the 3 products are tall with spray nozzles. I like how they’re color-coded, so it’s easier to remember which one is for which! They are BPA-free, made with shatterproof acrylic, and designed for re-use.

I like that the spray nozzle can be turned on/off, so you won’t have accidental sprays! It also gives a perfect and even mist on surfaces. Also, the trigger is pretty much the best I’ve ever used! The foaming hand soap container is a bit different from the other bottles, so it’s easier to spot! It’s smaller, and it has a pump instead of the spray nozzle like the other three. It’s made of glass and also Cradle-to-Cradle Platinum.

Foaming Hand Soap. Each bottle pairs with a corresponding tablet, which is also color-coded by the circle found in front of its packaging. This one is the foaming hand soap. I like it because it’s gentler on the skin than regular hand soaps we have tried. It’s also easy to rinse, and there’s no sticky feel on my hands after.

Like most Blueland products, it contains Citric Acid, which provides the right pH for your skin, so it can remove dirt without drying out your skin. Aside from Citric Acid, other ingredients are Sodium Coco-sulfate, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate, Algin, Polyethylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Potassium Sorbate, Fragrance, and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Each tablet makes 9 oz of soap. We got the Iris Agave scent, and it’s also nice as it’s subtle and not overpowering. Other available scents are Evergreen, Peppermint, Gingerbread, Perrine Lemon, and Lavender Eucalyptus. It may take a while before the tablet gets fully dissolved in the water, but we don’t mind! It’s all good! True to its name, it foams up as you dispense! If you’re looking for the perfect zero-waste hand soap, this is it. It’s eco-friendly without sacrificing the soap’s quality.

Bathroom Cleaner. The bathroom is one of the toughest places in the house to clean. This bathroom cleaner makes it easier because it’s tough on dirt and grime but not on your skin. Ingredients include Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Gluconolactone, Potassium Sorbate, Polyethylene Glycol, L-Leucine, Hydrated Silica, Fragrance, C9-11 Alcohols Ethoxylated, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, and Pink Colorant.

One tablet makes 20 oz of cleaner in a shatterproof bottle. This can be used on tubs, tiles, sinks, and even on porcelain. It has a Eucalyptus Mint Scent, which I find subtle and refreshing. The cleaning power of this product is quite amazing. It cuts through grease and grime and even kills bacteria and molds. It is also quite good in removing soap scum, hard water stains, calcium deposits, and rust, which are often found in the bathroom!

Multi-surface Cleaner. This multi-surface cleaner is great for all-around cleaning as it removes dirt from counters, tiles, stones, and even wood! Its ingredients are Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Potassium Sorbate, Polyethylene Glycol, L-Leucine, Fragrance, Hydrated Silica, C9-11 Alcohols Ethoxylated, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, and Yellow Colorant.

It comes in a Fresh Lemon scent, which is quite good. It doesn’t smell like other multi-surface cleaners at all – it’s subtle and gentle! This one contains Sodium Coco-Sulfate, which is known to effectively remove oily stains and residues! It also has Gluconolactone, a natural ingredient that helps maintain product shelf life, making it more budget-friendly since you can use it for a long time!

Glass + Mirror Cleaner. There’s also a cleaner specifically made for glasses and mirrors! Ingredients are Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Gluconolactone, Polyethylene Glycol, L-Leucine, Isopropylideneglycerol, Blue Colorant.

This one came unscented, but I really like it! This formula is just as good as the regular glass and window cleaners you can buy in stores. What makes it really different is the gentle and non-toxic formula. It effortlessly makes any glass surface look clearer! Since it contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, the formula removes the grime without leaving streaks. It’s very easy to use, too! Just spray and wipe clean, and you’re all set!

As mentioned earlier, preparing these cleaning products is super easy. Just remove the tablets from their packaging, put them inside the corresponding bottle, fill with hot or warm water, and then put the nozzle back to secure it. The tablets fizz once the water has been added! I really love that I can see what’s happening inside because the bottles are all clear. You just have to wait for the tablets to dissolve, and then you can start cleaning!

The box even includes a small information card. On the flip side, you will see the instructions on how to use the products, and they’re easy as 1-2-3! First, you just have to fill the bottle with warm or hot water until the indicated line, then drop the corresponding tablet from the pack. The last step is to put on the nozzle so you can start cleaning!

The forever bottles are just amazing, as they can be reused forever. The quality of the bottles leads me to believe that I’ll use them forever – they are the BEST triggers I’ve ever used on a household cleaning product (and I have reviewed and sampled soooo many!). I love everything from the color coding to the brilliant idea of making the solutions into tablets, so it’s easier for us to stock up!

Is Blueland Worth It?

All of the boxes I received have absolutely wowed me! The cleaning products work just as promised, and they are eco-friendly as well! I really appreciate that they included reusable containers in all of our first boxes. It saves space and lessens the amount of money spent on cleaning supplies because you just need refills. All we have to do is purchase refill tablets/powders when we run out and then store them again in our “forever” containers.

For ingredient-conscious people like me, it’s also good to know that these products don’t contain anything that may harm the environment. This is so amazing because you also get to help the Earth since you no longer need single-use plastic packaging.
