This October Vellabox sent one of four different candle scents with a cozy vibe theme and I received the fragrance for those who are into sweet and spicy fragrances. Soulistic Roots Roller in Relax ($15.50) The bonus product this month is a roll-on with a base of grapeseed oil and some essential oils that are supposed to promote relaxation. The oils used in this version are frankincense, lavender, and chamomile. (The card and website both also list sage and geranium but those aren’t listed on the side of the bottle, which is supposed to have the most accurate list. I must say I don’t detect geranium.) I mainly picked up lavender and something warm, but it fades incredibly quickly, but then again, most natural products like this don’t last as long as synthetic scents.
Soul Roots Wax Co. Last Harvest (Buy a 7 ounce candle for $24) I received a candle in a scent that is for those who like it sweet and spicy. It has notes of apple, cinnamon, and cedar. It is made of soy wax and the scent is free from phthalates. I burned it in my living room and it was noticeable within the room. This is a gourmand scent and reminded me of sipping a Caramel Apple Spice drink from Starbucks!
My October candle from Vellabox and Soul Roots Candle Co. reminded me of a cozy caramel apple cider and left my living room smelling sweet and warm. The scent was strong both while hot and while cold and had moderate throw when burning. The bonus gift of a relaxing roller ball scented oil had a scent that was fleeting but that gave me a warm, snug feeling while it lasted.
