This November Vellabox sent one of three different candle scents and I see that the cozy theme continues, as it should. I received the fragrance for those who are into citrus + woodsy fragrances. I also received a hand and body lotion in a scent that I absolutely adore. I am reviewing The Vivere Box, which comes with a 16 ounce candle and is $38 a month.

Sunday’s Child Snug Life Scented Candle (Buy a 9 ounce candle for $16) I received the candle scent that is ideal for those who chose citrus & woodsy as their favorite type of scent. It has notes of bergamot, mahogany, violet, and musk. It’s made of 100% USA-grown soy wax, is scented with phthalate-free fragrance oil, and has a lead-free cotton wick. I have burned this candle twice and each time I am not really able to detect the scent while it’s burning, so either I am nose-blind to this scent or it doesn’t have good throw. It smells splendid when cold, the citrus and woodsy notes are well blended and it has a bit of sweetness to it along with something floral and musky.
Essence One Hand & Body Lotion ($7) I have a shower mist from this brand in this same scent and I absolutely love it, so I was thrilled to receive a matching hand and body lotion! This non-greasy lotion is scented with spearmint, patchouli, and bergamot mint and is so uplifting – I can’t help but smile and say “ahhh” when I smell this.
I don’t know how Vellabox finds so many good brands to feature but they hit the mark every time! I loved the smell of this candle when it was cold, I just wish that I could have smelled it when it was burning. I was especially pleased by the scent of the hand and body lotion, it’s one of my favorite scent combos and contains two of my favorite herbal notes: patchouli and mint. I have it in my purse to use as hand lotion because I want it to last a while – it makes me so happy when I smell it during my day.
